Question:

Julie Says:
I’d say half an hour absolute maximum - but preferably only 20 minutes. Cock rings can be great for sustaining erections, but they are dangerous if left on for too long.
When one is in place it traps the blood in your penis – hence keeping your erection for longer - but obviously there isn’t any circulation of fresh blood. And when oxygen-rich blood isn’t able to circulate around your bits for any sustained length of time, your penile tissue gradually starts to die… not exactly the effect you’re after.
Lots of lube will enable easier removal of a cock ring, and avoid rings made from unbroken metal as they’re much harder to get off in a hurry. Don’t use a cock ring at all if you’re diabetic, have nerve or circulatory problems, or you’re on any anticoagulant or blood-thinning medication - including aspirin.
