If you've been with your partner for over five years then the University of British Columbia Sexual Health Lab wants you for their exciting and unique survey that aims to explain the peaks and troughs in sexual activity throughout a long term relationship.
The study that the University is running looks at the reasons one might engage in sexual activity in the context of a long-term relationship and what effect this has on either partner.
Many people in long-term (more than five years) relationships notice that their sexual desire declines somewhat and they may not crave sexual activity as strongly as they did early in their relationship. It is this that the researchers hope to explain and hopefully come up with a way of combating it.
If you're in a long term relationship, then your participation in this study is greatly needed if the team are to establish effective treatments for men and women who are bothered by the decline in their sexual interests.
To find out more information and to help out visit the University of British Columbia Sexual Health Lab online.
If you're particularly worried about your sexual desire then take a look at the fabulous Tracey Cox book
The Sex Doctor which will explain and help you to overcome any problems you have, whether they're related to your libido, sexual fantasies, sex toys or otherwise!
