'Before discovering LoveHoney, I'd never heard of Liquid Silk, but after reading rave reviews about it I decided to give it a go. However, I was still sceptical, so I went for the 50ml version - if it's rubbish, then I've only spent £3.99 on a small bottle.
And was it rubbish? Absolutely not! I loved the silky feel, the fact it didn't dry up and left horrible gooey residue like some other lubes I've tried, and since this is water-based, it's safe to use with any condom or sex toy, and there won't be any messy stains on the bed if I accidentally spill some. Only a small amount of product is needed to do the job, however as this doesn't turn into goo after 10 minutes, you can add more along the way if needed ;)
Packaging wise I love the convenient cap - simply flick it up, turn it upside down, squeeze and go! This is much better than the screw top lubes, as it doesn't take as long to dispense the product. I really like the size of the bottle, too, it's small enough to be discreet but contains a generous amout of lube!
Another thing I love about this is that it contains skin conditioners and vitamin E, and therefore it keeps your intimate areas well cared for and moisturised ;) I've never experienced any redness or soreness from using this product, and I have quite sensitive skin. I also like this lube because it has no smell; now don't get me wrong I love flavoured lubes, but I don't want my bits to smell like a fruit bowl every single time!
If you decide to buy just one water-based lube, then this should definitely be it! You can thank me later ;)'
