This came in a lovely, expensive looking box, but that was the most impressive thing about it in my experience. Having to charge this via the USB port of my PC for two hours before use felt downright strange to say the least, although I suppose it does save on batteries. I think this is supposed to be disguised as a make-up item, but the materials of this vibe felt cheap and I thought it just looked tacky. The vibrations were not very strong and overall I was really disappointed with this for the price.

I was expecting great things from the Lelo Mia, as I own a Lelo Gigi and it is my favourite toy. However, I was sorely disappointed as the material it is made of becomes incredibly slippery in your hand and holding it against your clit becomes difficult, and therefore the delivery of the vibrations is somewhat erratic. For those it works for, it would make a handy travel toy, so long as you also have a USB connection with which to charge it. That said, the charge time is quick, just 2 hours for 4 hours of use. As for me, I'll stick to the Gigi for now!

I can't believe you charge this through a USB!? I honestly laughed my head off when I looked at this. I can never imagine myself charging this when I'm sat on my laptop, at work, surrounded by colleagues who may ask to use my 'memory stick'. It's an interesting idea and I'm not entirely sure why it's made that way... but it is. Once I stopped laughing at charging it on my laptop and used it, it's not bad. I really did enjoy it. The vibrations are good but it's pretty loud. It's good for a bit of solo time and maybe a quickie and it does come in a nice box, but I just can't get over how you charge it; I think it's hilarious! It's pricey for what it is and I much prefer other vibes for a lot less money.

This vibrator comes in a lovely box and it's a really nice colour. I love that all you have to do to charge it is plug it into your computer and it lights up to let you know it's charging. It's very easy to use: all you do is use the + o - button. It's very discreet, and would be easy to slip in your handbag and nobody would know what it was if they saw it. As bullet vibrators go, the vibrations aren't as strong which, for me, is perfect as I often find them overpowering. You can slowly build up the speed you're happy with. This product converted me to small vibes - I love it!

I love this little toy! It charges via USB, which is awesome, and a hidden LED flashes whilst it's charging, then holds steady once fully charged, so you know when it's done. You could also get away with saying it's a flash drive or something, as it's very discreet and doesn't look like a toy at all! It was great fun and incredibly easy to use, but I found that if I pressed too hard, the USB cap tended to flick off. Gave a pretty good climax. A great little toy that fits easily into your handbag or pocket - great for travelling with!

The fact you can charge the Lelo Mia via the computer is amazing. It really does show just what life is like at the moment - charging vibrators via USB, busy women, girls on the go. I admit, that is the best thing about this toy. I found it very simple and basic, there isn't a lot of choice when it comes to vibrations, and I found the USB charging port cover came off way too easily. The fact the toy isn't waterproof is disappointing as you'd expect such things with the price. It is something that you can easily travel with though. It's small enough to fit in a handbag and you can easily pass it off as a USB memory stick.

Lovely to look at, beautiful case and a lovely satin pouch to carry it around in if you really want to use it in a public place. Not as quiet as I expected, perhaps as I never use anything at high speed, very few toys seem that noisy to me, so I expected super-quiet from the Mia. It was certainly quieter than the average toy, but only super-quiet on the lowest setting. I certainly didn't want to risk using it in the loo at college or when I went out bowling as I thought it might be heard (I took it with me to see if I might be able to). Quiet enough if you just don't want parents, housemates or children to hear you from a separate bedroom though. I like the fact that it's rechargeable, and from a USB, which does work. I found the different pulse settings only worked if it had been recently charged, otherwise it was hard to get them to switch on. Overall, mixed feelings about this. It has some good points, but for the money, other vibes might do a better job more easily. If it's to keep quiet in the home, should be better than the average vibe, and if you have your own office and enjoy a bit of risky naughtiness in the afternoon, this could be quiet enough. It feels nice to use a luxury toy, so I guess this improves the value for money a bit. I'm sure it would be heard in a public loo though.

The Lelo Mia is the most attractive toy in the Sex Toy Awards 2009, from the sleek design to the gorgeous pink light that glows whilst it is recharging; it's just divine. Mia is USB rechargeable, which is handy, although it would be nice if it came with a mains adapter, too. The highest vibrations are fairly strong and it's easy to control the levels with the plus and minus buttons. The best feature about the Mia is that it's travel lockable by pressing and holding the two buttons at the same time. The Lelo Mia looks more like a lipstick than anything else and it's silent. There is nowhere that you couldn't take this vibe and mine is now a permanent feature in my handbag. Definitely worth the money and the best travel vibe you could buy.

Lelo, oh my friend Lelo! Thank you to LoveHoney for introducing me to this sleek, cute and discreet toy. A toy a busy woman like me can take on the go and charge on her laptop. A toy you'll never be embarrassed about if it drops out of your bag, because it's so damn CUTE. The ultimate purse accessory! Lelo is a slow starter; I found myself using the fastest setting first and 30minutes later, nothing. So I decided to tease myself, what would I want a man to do with this? So I started slow and caressed all over, discovering new sensitive areas.

The nib is sleek but firm, and contact at first feels a little cold but that heightens the sensitivity. The buttons are so easy to use that I found myself dancing from setting to setting. My only complaint is holding the button for two seconds to get to the pulses was a little annoying. Lelo is a toy that will allow hours of fun, either on your own or with a partner. The price is reasonable because it's gorgeous and does the trick, but I think a few pounds less would be a lot fairer due to the size. This aside, I am now a Lelo fan and will be saving and stocking my shelves with the whole range for 2010.

Packaged well and looks lovely - those are the best bits about this vibe. Its unique selling point is you can charge it on your computer and it would just look like a fancy USB stick (you can charge it in plain sight). Great if you use your computer a lot or have a laptop, not so great otherwise - it has no other way to charge it and doesn't use a battery. The box also smelt really strongly but the vibe didn't, which is okay if you bought it for yourself but would not be great if bought as a gift. The motor sounds like a computer starting up at the beginning and is quite loud. Pricey and not nearly as good as other clitoral stimulators out there that are a lot cheaper. Don't get me wrong, it got me there but unless you're some kind of laptop-toting business babe that commutes on trains all day and gets randy thinking about getting yourself off in a train toilet then avoid, AVOID.

I was impressed by the cute look of this toy and its quirkiness of being rechargeable by a computer USB port. It has easy to use controls and 4 different settings to use. I found it a bit difficult at first remembering how to switch between modes, but after a few uses it became simpler.
