My first impressions of this toy weren't great - I immediately noticed several things about it that I disliked, and found a few more along the way. But taking off my sex toy addict hat and looking at it objectively, I soon warmed to it! At first, I disliked the large head on the toy - I prefer much more focused stimulation. But running the massager over my body gave me some nice, gentle thrills. Another gripe was the controls - I much prefer a push-button. However, since I most enjoyed the toy on its highest settings, it was easy to turn it up full and leave it there, no fumbling required to shift speeds. One negative that did stay with me was the fact that the vibrations from the head of the massager do travel down to the handle - this can get irritating after a short period of use. The massager is perfectly suited for couples' use and alone for more gentle stimulation, something I'm prone to forgetting about since stronger toys are my favourites! I definitely enjoyed taking it down a gear with this and rediscovering a more slow and sensual pleasure. It didn't deliver an absolutely earth-shattering orgasm, but I'll definitely be returning to the massager for foreplay, by myself and with partners.

Due to me being a sad old spinster, I had to test this one on my own - and oh my god, it was so good that I can't wait to get my hands on a man to play with it some more! I loved everything about this toy - the look, the feel, using it, the orgasm, the entire experience. After charging it for 24 hours (the only vague negative I could come up with), I figured out easily how it worked. It's such a simple idea and it works so instinctively that I couldn't wait to try it out! It delivers amazing, long, satisfying orgasms - probably the closest to real sex I've ever experienced from a sex toy. It's so unobtrusive compared to the likes of the rabbit or a dildo, and it's a complete pleasure to use. It hugs the clit and G-spot closely, applying just the right amount of pressure and vibration, and is totally hands-free - a big bonus which makes for a much more relaxing experience. I can't sing its praises enough! I have to say though that I'm not sure I'd ever invest so much money in a toy for myself... but any guys out there looking for a present for their missus, this would be heartily appreciated!

Absolutely everything about this vibrator caused me to go into a total girl fit. The packaging - so cute! The pinkness - adorable! The little bag - so handy! Charging it - it blinks! The shape - like a lipstick! Squee! I am completely in love with this handy and gorgeous little toy. USB chargeable, it's stylish, sleek and seriously sexy. With simple up and down controls for continuous vibration, it took me a few goes to realise it also had pulsing patterns! And once I did, I fell all the more in love with it. I can't believe such a luxury, high quality vibrator comes at such a reasonable price - I'd buy one for all my female friends if I thought I could get away with it. There's nothing I didn't like about the Lelo Mia, it's the perfect vibrator for girly girls and geeky girls. So cute you'll want to show all your friends, but only for a little while - you'll want to steal it away to use before long! It doesn't do much beyond what a simple bullet would, but the extra cost is worth it for the sheer luxury factor.

Beginners Basic Vibrating Finger Ring
Subjectively, I didn't really like this toy. It's all wrong for me; a combination of things that I would never choose in a toy! First off, it's a finger vibe, which I'm not a fan of. Secondly, its nodule-y texture is something I'd usually avoid in toys. Thirdly the jelly-like material is not a favourite with me. Although I'd never choose this for myself, I can still appreciate its appeal. Ideally suited for couples just starting out with toys (in my opinion), this finger ring is simple to use and won't intimidate, while at the same time adding an extra element of fun to the bedroom. Getting started with it literally couldn't be easier - take it out of the packet, switch it on, off you go. It has a stretchy ring to go around one or two fingers - I found using two fingers made it easier to control. It's virtually silent so it doesn't distract from the matter 'at hand', har har. Ultimately, for £2.49, you absolutely can't go wrong, and it's a fantastic addition to anyone's bedroom routine. I suspect I'd enjoy it more if a man was wielding it, so I shall be keeping this one on standby!

Lovehoney Jessica Rabbit 2.0 G-Spot Vibrator
This vibe is quickly turning into my go-to toy when I reach into the drawer! It has it all - strength, variety, G-spot stimulation, rabbit ears, and amazing orgasms! It's a complete steal at £29.99 as well. I didn't think I could like another Rabbit as much as my Jessica 2.0 Slimline, but this has topped it. I loved pretty much every aspect - the smooth shaft with the G-spot stimulator was the perfect girth and angle for me; the bunny ears perfectly positioned, too. It gives me quick, easy, amazing orgasms that leave my legs trembling - every girl should have one! Some very small negatives, however - I find rabbit vibes in general tricky to clean because of all the nooks and crannies, and this one is no different. Also, there's a slight plasticy smell upon opening, but that dissipates with use. The controls are a bit fiddly, but given that the vibe does so many different things, I don't think they could be made any simpler! The noise factor is worth considering if you have housemates - while it's not the noisiest vibe ever, it could be overheard on a quiet afternoon if someone was hanging around on the landing! Taking all that into consideration, this toy was still one of the best of the bunch - I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good value rabbit vibe that performs well on every occasion.

SaSi by Je Joue Intelligent Rechargeable Vibrator
I was very disappointed with the SaSi. Perhaps it's me, but I simply don't get this toy. A combination of my personal preferences and the way I'm built means I got little or no enjoyment from this toy - the overwhelming feeling was one of frustration from not being able to understand the instruction manual. I found the SaSi overcomplicated and ineffectual. The manual failed to show me properly how to best use the toy to start out with, and so I just gave it a go myself. Cycling through the movements and vibrations, I was at a loss to find one that I could even really feel, never mind one that gave me pleasure. Sad to say, each and every function felt like someone poking gently and ineffectually at my clit. It just did nothing for me, at all. I found it annoying that the massaging ball kept moving away from my clit, I couldn't get any sort of focused or constant stimulation from it. Having tried it at least five times without being able to even figure it out, never mind get off, I gave in and decided that the SaSi simply isn't for me. A huge disappointment for such an expensive toy, and one that I had high hopes for.

This is as simple and easy as it gets - a dinky little bullet that really packs a punch to deliver a fast and frenzied orgasm. There's not much to say about this little toy that isn't apparent from just looking at it - it's so simple, so easy to use, so self-explanatory... to use a tired cliche, it does exactly what it says on the tin. It comes with batteries included (plus spares) so all that's necessary is to open the packet and get started by clicking the button and finding a pattern you like! After that, it's just a matter of enjoying it. Some minor niggles for me - it's very small, too small for my personal tastes as I prefer something bigger for clitoral stimulation. The size is also an issue when it gets wet down there, as slippery fingers and smooth plastic don't mix very well! I found it hard to keep a grip on the toy in the heat of the moment. Aside from that small gripe, it's all good!

Vibe Therapy Serene 7 Function Silicone Twist Vibrator
I loved this vibe for two reasons - it has the most simple and effective controls of any other vibrator I've ever used; and it's definitely the most beautiful, too. The Serene is a gorgeous thing to behold, all curves and sweeping lines. The controls are gorgeously simple - one button for on/off and another to cycle through the patterns. The pattern changing button is big and unmissable, something that solves a real pet peeve of mine - fumbling around with controls to change the setting. And since it has a separate on/off switch, you don't have to cycle through the patterns to get back to one you like! All that said, I found this vibe a little too big for me; and the raised lines around it were a little uncomfortable on insertion and removal. If the toy had have been smooth, I would have really loved it, but that's just a personal preference! Nice, strong vibrations give a nice, strong orgasm; and since the toy is silicone it's easy to clean. This is a nice luxury toy at a fantastic price, and I'll definitely be buying more toys from this range in the future.

A great toy that's set to become a firm favourite in my collection. This kooky, retro little vibe is a breath of fresh air - something different from the usual bullet vibrator that suits me much better. The flat head with 3 steel nodules are a new and fantastic feeling, a simple change in texture from most vibrators, but it makes a huge difference. One thing I did notice - anyone cultivating hair down there could be in for a short sharp shock, as it could easily get caught under the steel balls! The small groove there means that you always need to use a dollop of lube on the head of this vibe to prevent such nips - but it's a small price to pay to play! With a very simple to use on/off switch and a button which cycles through each of the 10 functions, it's a straightforward vibe with a difference. Feels great on tense body parts as well! The Erotic Rocket is a really nifty piece of kit, versatile and effective. I'll be keeping this one close at hand!

Screaming O FingO Waterproof Mini Finger Vibrator
The Screaming FingO isn't a toy I'd pick for myself - it's too small and fiddly for my tastes, and I'm not a fan of textured sleeves either. That said, for anyone who's into this type of toy, it's a fantastic version of a simple classic. Stronger than most finger vibes I've tried, the FingO is better built, more attractive and more complex as well. With different patterns as well as replaceable batteries, this is definitely one to keep in the bedside locker long-term as opposed to the disposable finger vibes on the market. While the quality and vibrations were better than I expected, I still found the cost a tad high for such a small and simple toy. However, if you're looking for a simple, small, discreet, quiet vibrator, you can't go wrong with the FingO.
