While the colour was a little off-putting and the vibrations not as strong as I suspected, I love the shape of this massager - which is what this is. It's obviously an external toy used to enhance sex rather than just as a way to have an orgasm. That said, it fits perfectly over the clitoris - if it were only more powerful it would be perfect. This is definitely more of a toy for foreplay than as a solo sex toy.

First the downsides: the location of the on switch means you have to turn this on before insertion. This, on top of lubrication, can make it rather difficult to make it go where you want. The recharge port is also in the nose and I spent a good 10 minutes trying to pluck up the courage to stab it into the covering, hoping I had the right end. There's a choice of low or high speeds and high is definitely better. The added bonus is that once it's inserted, the We-Vibe will stay there quite happily making it perfect for those women who enjoy using butterflies or doing other things with their hands.

Lelo Mia USB Rechargeable Vibrator
As a bit of a geek, I love anything which means I can use it via my computer and the Mia can be recharged using your common or garden USB port so saves electricity. It's a nice sized vibrator which you can easily keep in a bag, anyone who happened to come across it might think it was lipstick. The vibrations are nothing special but as an emergency vibe, it's perfect. The only downside is the lid of the USB keeps coming off during usage which can be a little annoying.

Lovehoney Jessica Rabbit 2.0 G-Spot Vibrator
I've never owned a rabbit, not seen THAT episode of Sex and the City, but even I know that rabbits have taken the sex toy world by storm and I also now understand why. The colouring is not to my taste and the shaft is a little too big, the G-spot section works a treat but you really need to be in the mood to enjoy this toy. The rabbit ears are wonderous though, amazingly powerful. They were heavenly. The main shaft can rotate but didn't do much for me sensation-wise, I also found the vibration had a habit of sliding out of position. The controls were easy to use, once you experimented with the buttons. While this model is not perfect for rabbit virgins, I'd certainly look into getting a similar model in future.

SaSi by Je Joue Intelligent Rechargeable Vibrator
While I love an inventive sex toy as much as the next girl, this one involved an awful lot of work. There are plenty of programs built in but you have to, essentially, train the SaSi and that can take a while, leading to much frustration. It's not a bad little gizmo though, even if half my time was spent playing with the numerous buttons and trying to figure out the optimal position. However, the sensations are quite unique and surprising, if occasionally weak. The SaSi certainly gets bonus points for inventive thinking, though.

However, externally, it's perfect and batteries are even included. The only downside was that it kept turning itself on when not in use.

My big gripe with the Serene is, while it looks like some kind of piece of modern art, it's a real pain to get batteries into. This is kind of the point as it's waterproof but after 45 minutes trying to open the compartment, I wanted to chuck it out a window. That said, as soon as I did get it open it's quite a fun toy. It's not something I'd use internally as it's really, really thick around the circumference but the decoration adds for interesting sensations and it works just as well on the clitoris. It's made well and offers plenty of different patterns and strength of vibrations but the difficulty in getting it working could put quite a few people off.

I honestly didn't think something so affordable and er... pink could make my day. Boy, was I wrong. If I could have only one sex toy, this would be it. The various strengths and patterns are different and obviously chosen with care as there's something for everyone. One in particular had me breathless in seconds, rising and pulsing and then ebbing, just as you wish it wouldn't, only to rise again. The ball bearings at the head offer a unique triangular sensation but if these get caught in hair, it is painful. That aside, the Erotic Rocket is perfect in these cash-strapped times as it's cheap but also does the job - and then some!

I do think the name is, in this case, a bit of a misnomer. This little vibrator is a simple bullet with a squidgy moulded plastic cover. I actually preferred it without the latter, which can be removed easily. It's cheap and offers surprisingly strong vibrations but didn't make the earth move for me.
