I already had a pair of ben wa balls but mine are attached so I fancied a change.

These come in their own lovely little box which is ideal for storage, and they are very nondescript - most people wouldn't have a clue what they were for if you left them on display in their box!

They are nice and smooth and weighted - ideal for toning your pelvic floor, and I got them for the bargain price of £2 - winner all around!

Still searching for the perfect set of balls for me I purchased this item (my fourth set).

Hands down the best packaging which is perfect for storage when not in use.

The balls themselves are small and fit easily in a closed hand. They are a good weight and the metal is completely smooth. As they are small, the Ben Wa balls are easy to insert and with no cord there's nothing left hanging out.

I was a little worried to begin with about managing to keep them in, they are the smallest I've used. I needn't have worried and you can certainly feel yourself working to keep them in place.

When it comes to removal, a bit of a squeeze is enough to pop them out one at a time. These little golden balls are the best I've ever used and the lack of a cord is brilliant for ease of cleaning and any hygiene worries some of you may have about nylon retrieval cord.

Have to say I would recommend these to everyone, especially for the price. A very good purchase which will leave all my other duo balls redundant!

I had wanted to try some toner balls for a long time, and spent a few months being unable to decide which ones to get. What size would be best, string or no string etc. In the end I decided on these Original Ben Wa Balls as they were low price and simply designed. If I really didn't like them I hadn't broke the bank finding out.

On Arrival:

The balls arrived, packaged in a simple white cardboard box. Nothing fancy and so I ripped right through to find a lovely little clear plastic box in the shape of a little treasure chest. It has a diamond design cut into the plastic and inside, black foam which the two gold balls were resting in. The foam has two holes cut out to keep the balls in place. Very cute and the box and layout make this product feel more expensive and luxurious. The little chest can be used for storage after use too.

The first thing I noticed when I removed the little gold balls from the box is that they were a lot smaller and slightly heavier than I expected. Please remember that these balls are advertised as being for "advanced users" When using toner balls, you should start with larger balls and gradually introduce smaller and smaller balls as you get more experienced at squeezing your muscles, and as your muscles get tighter. Something I overlooked. To give you a better picture of the size, I can hold both of these balls in one of my hands and completely close my hand around them. They are roughly the same size as a shelled hazelnut. You could easily fit one into the top of a plastic cola bottle and drop it inside. So, quite small! They are also solid metal. So they do have a nice bit of weight to them.

Inserting the Ben Wa Balls:

These balls do not have any strings and are not joined in any way. They are not magnetic and do not stick together. Inserting the balls is very easy. I found that with a tiny amount of lube and laying on my back, I could push them both deep inside without any problems at all. In fact, once I had pushed them inside I really could not feel them any more. Nor could I hear them clinking together when I moved. They were incredibly comfortable. Initially very cold but they soon warm up.

Using the Ben Wa balls:

I have not used toner balls before and was not sure what to expect. I soon discovered a few things. First of all these balls are really difficult to keep inside when you are a beginner anyway. I have had two children, but my muscle is not weak. I don't have problems with bladder leakage and I can grip my other toys pretty hard. I have average control. These Original Ben Wa balls did keep slipping out. Usually within 10 minutes of me moving around. I couldn't even feel them inside me until it was "too late" and I felt it popping out. oops!

Will they make you orgasm?

Another thing I discovered is that they were not really "arousing" for me. As mentioned, I did not feel them inside me. They are more practical really, doing the job of toning your muscles. These particular balls do not jiggle. (They do not have a ball inside the main ball to cause the jiggle effect. They are solid.) The only arousing thing I found was the idea of using them in public. The naughtiness factor. I imagine if you are tighter and more advanced at using toner balls that they would actually feel quite nice and tease your G-spot, but I think it would be hard to orgasm using these alone. By the way, if they do fall out in public, they do generally stay inside your underwear as long as it is fitted and you are not doing star jumps you should be able to make it to a bathroom to fix the problem rather than watching in horror as a gold ball falls out your trouser leg and goes rolling down the aisle at Tesco!

Removing the Ben Wa balls:

I was slightly worried that without a string these balls might get lost inside me. This really isn't a worry. Because of the weight of them they naturally fall downwards and can easily be pushed out with a gentle squeeze. They are designed to be difficult to keep in so you can imagine they do find their way out naturally if you are not holding them with your muscles.

Would I recommend these Ben Wa Balls:

This is not a negative review. Far from it. I understand that I just got a bit too enthusiastic and I would just recommend starting with larger balls if you are a beginner to using toner balls. I believe that after training with larger balls, eventually these balls will be perfect. Because, aside from the fact I personally couldn't keep them in, they are perfect. No unhygienic strings or dimples to rub against your delicate skin, perfectly smooth and weighty too. Sometimes simplicity is better and in this case it really is. They are also fantastic value for money!

These balls are fantastic and I will continue to use them in the bedroom until I am tighter. Which adds a new element to BDSM play. I challenge you to keep these inside whilst stood up and getting spanked. :D
