Our First Strap-On

It's quite expensive but definitely worth it (think of it as a bit of an investment, as you can basically keep using the harness forever)!
Also, we recognised that, seeing as only my fingers had ventured into his unknown, we probably needed to start small. The fact this comes with two sizes was therefore perfect. Oh and being silicone was a plus too...
- The colour and sizes of the dildos.
- Bottom line
- It's a great starting place that we’d highly recommend.

Well worth the money

Having experimented a little with anal play on hubby - (finger and vibrator) I saw this on LH and thought it sounded like our sort of toy. Being new to pegging we liked the idea of having a small one to start with and then a larger one, although I would suggest that (as in other reviews) if you've done any anal play before then go for the next size up package. We immediately dismissed the small dildo and used the the bigger one.
The harness was easy to put on and can be cut to size. It's comfy and doesn't look seedy, more like a kinky thong!
After several attempts at positions we used the doggy style and that suits perfectly! The vibrator buzzed away and made me climax and the the dildo rubbed nicely away at his prostate making him orgasm purely through this sensation, fabulous! It felt so wrong and kinky that it was such a turn-on (would just mention that in this doggy position I turned the dildo facing downward so that it's angle was hitting his right spot).
- Bottom line
- Very dirty, very naughty, very nice!

Bend Over Beginner Harness Dildo Kit - Straight Couple

Review written by: Female (Note: orgasm rating is given by male partner.)
Used for: Pegging.
I initially used the harness as-supplied, with the velvety pad/pouch. I couldn't get it to sit low enough to get an appropriate angle with the pad/pouch attached, the bullet sat extremely uncomfortably right on my pubic bone, and the pad/pouch made it difficult to feel what was going on.
We quickly realised, though, that when you undo the snaps to change the o-ring, you can actually just remove the pad/pouch part. Used without this, it was very easy to adjust the harness to hold the dildo securely directly against my body in a perfect low position. This changed the game entirely. With the base of the dildo directly against my skin, it was much easier to gauge the level of resistance, angle, etc, and the process was much more natural, whereas it had been rather clumsy before. If you have difficulty with the pouch/pad, I definitely recommend this. If you do want the dildo to vibrate, we found that if I wore the We-Vibe 3, the transfer of vibration was okay, though not fantastic, or a vibrating cockring can be put on the dildo. We ended up deciding this was unnecessary for us, though.
I'm basically average-sized, perhaps a little larger than average around the thighs, and there was a LOT of excess length of strap when the harness was appropriately tightened. This would easily fit a person very much larger than me, but at the same time can be tightened in to fit someone much smaller. The straps are webbing, so the excess can be simply trimmed, and the cut ends melted with a flame to prevent fraying. If you want to use it right away, like we did, without messing around with trimming, etc, I found the loose ends could also be easily tucked or tied out of the way.
I'm completely satisfied with this harness, with the pouch/pad removed. It is perfectly comfortable, the adjustment buckles are sensibly positioned, it is not at all fiddly, it's minimalistic enough that I still feel totally nude, it does not interfere with vaginal, anal or clitoral access, the snaps holding the o-ring are very secure, and if I *do* decide at some point that I want some sort of backing behind the toy I choose to use, it will be extremely simple to just modify the supplied one or make a new pad backing that suits my desires. I feel no need whatsoever to "upgrade" to a different harness; this one is just right.
The dildos supplied in the small-medium beginner's kit were PERFECT for us. Even though the description calls them "firm", they are soft and flexible enough that they are very forgiving to, erm, errors, which is something I was very concerned about when we first ordered the kit -- I really was very scared I might cause my partner pain or injury when starting out. It might make a difference, so I'll mention my partner does have some experience with other anal toys already. We actually found that the smaller dildo is a good size to start with with very little anal play "warm up". The larger one is basically the size of a normal penis, (though an abnormal ultra-smooth shape, hahaha), and he finds it well and truly large enough to be extremely satisfying. The size and smooth finish make this a perfect beginner's kit for pegging -- large and firm enough to be satisfying to the male partner, but smooth, soft and flexible enough to be easy to use by the female.
For use for vaginal penetration, if anyone considering that use is actually reading this, if you've used other penetrating toys and are looking for a first strap-on, may I suggest you also have a look at the intermediate kit and compare the sizes provided. The harness is the same, and I'd recommend this as a great, minimal but perfectly sufficient harness for anyone, but the small size here is actually smaller than I realised. Perfect anal size if that's what you're after, but you may or may not find it sufficient for vaginal use, and the large size might be more useful to you.
Used as-intended, in the pouch, I found the position of the bullet to be awful. It might not be clear from the photo, but the bullet pocket runs the whole way to the bottom of the fabric pad. No matter where in the pocket I positioned the vibrator, I could not find a position that was not pressing uncomfortably or even painfully on my pubis. However, the bullet itself is a pretty good one. Single speed, nice and buzzy and strong. Even if you decide, like we did, not to use it with this harness, it's not a bad addition to one's collection.
General concluding statements:
For a heterosexual couple interested in pegging, I really believe that this is the perfect starter's kit. If you're still sitting on the fence about whether or not you want to have a try at pegging, I'd encourage you to get this and give it a go! Aside from being enjoyable and excitingly different in and of itself, the role reversal and change in perspective is very educational and we've found the insights it has provided have even improved our "conventional" intercourse.
- Versatile, minimalist harness; excellent size and design of dildos.
- Pouch/pad interferes with positioning, but removable; vibe position in pocket uncomfortable.
- Bottom line
- 100% essential piece of kit! Best purchase ever.
