    1. Product Description

Take control over your sex life and enjoy fun, safe, interruption-free sex at the drop of a hat! A specially designed latex-free sheath that can be inserted any time before rumpy pumpy, this comfortable condom makes safe sex feel better for him and her.

Unlike regular barrier contraceptives which are worn by him and can limit sensation, this soft, temperature-responsive female condom creates a second layer inside her. The result? She still benefits from the same level of stimulation, while he experiences direct strokes against his shaft and head that feel just like sex without a condom.

Using LUWI is simple and comfortable. Just open the packet, pinch the inner ring and place it inside the vagina, and you're ready to go! You can safely wear the sheath for anything up to 8 hours before play. Never interrupt the moment trying to find protection again and just get straight down to business when the mood strikes.

The loose-fitting design hugs the inside of your body and heats up quickly to body temperature, which increases comfort for you as well as sensation for your partner. With the outer ring sitting against the labia, the area of protection is even greater than with a standard condom for total peace of mind.

      Key Features:

      • 4 Non-latex insertable condoms for pleasurable, safe, interruption-free fun
      • Polyurethane sheath sits inside the vagina for increased sensation and comfort
      • Hypoallergenic, organic polyurethane is ultra-thin and heats up to body temperature for a lifelike sensation
      • Protects against pregnancy and STDs
      • External ring also protects labia and keeps condom in place

    1. Now a regular purchase

Reviewed: 31 December 2016 by Mogsley

We've tried various condoms before and were seemingly on a never-ending quest to find the thinnest condoms around only for hubby to dislike them.

We got our first pack of Luwi a while ago and I find them quite easy to use and because they can be put in in advance (unlike some others) we don't have to stop to use them.

Putting them in a bit in advance works best as they become part of you and best of all hubby loves them. Plus, though it's not everyone's cup of tea, having part of it sitting outside seems to allow for a bit of additional stimulation.

The only downside for me is the cost but worth it to finally find something he likes.

    1. Great alternative

Reviewed: 23 September 2016 by helleven, a Bisexual Single Female

After a quick trip to the bathroom to insert the Luwi, we were ready to go. The insertion was easier than expected. I followed the simple instructions on the back of the packet and it reminded me of times when I had to insert the contraceptive ring.

The Luwi is essentially a sleeve with a large ring at one end designed to rest outside your body and a smaller ring at the other end which is inserted. Both rings are flexible and once the smaller ring was inserted it sat comfortably inside me.

We applied some lube to him as we usually would with any other condom and in use I was pleased to report that it didn’t do that one thing I feared it would do; make plastic rustling sounds. I had heard the rumours about what the older styles of (‘female’ condoms as they were called at the time) were like and one thing you heard was that they were like a plastic bag, with rustling noises accompanying sex. There was certainly none of that with the Luwi.

In terms of sensation; I could feel everything just as much as with other condoms. I felt protected but I also wasn’t ~overly~ aware of its presence either. I felt comfortable in knowing I had inserted it properly, which made me feel a little more in control of my own protection.

Talking to my partner afterwards he said that he would rank the Luwi higher than some condoms but that he still had his preference for his favourite thin brand of condom.

Something I really liked about the Luwi was it’s suitability for period sex with minimal mess. We first tested the Luwi on a heavy day in my cycle and it kept my monthly fluids at bay til the deed was over. If you enjoy sex at that time of the month but have a partner who is squeamish about coming in contact with those fluids then this is ideal!

      Pros
Easy to insert and comfortable during use.
      Cons
      Nothing.
      Bottom line
A fab alternative to the usual condoms we use, surprised me!

    1. Amazing sensation

Reviewed: 28 June 2016 by emergencyexit, a Straight Married Male

We were very happy to receive this product as a tester in exchange of an honest review, thank you Lovehoney!

As usual, the product arrived quickly in a very discreet packaging.

If you are not used to female condoms, it is something like a regular condom, but still different. It has two rings, and you need to insert the smallest one. The bigger one will simply lie on the outside. The explanations provided with the product are quite simple, to say the least, so if you haven't used a female condom before, you might want to double check online or somewhere else to be absolutely sure how to insert it, and how to remove it.

It is said that you can wear it up to 8 hours before having sex. My wife tried to wear it during 2 hours to see how it was, and she said it was extremely comfortable to wear.

Unlike condoms, it is absolutely not tight, and really covers the inside. It also heats up really fast, you just need a few minutes to bring it to your body temperature. The sensations during penetration are much better than with a regular condom and you can really feel the heat of your partner. It seems to be thinner than a regular condom too, but that may be just us. My wife said penetration felt almost natural, as if she wasn't wearing the Luwi. I had the same feeling, it was by far the best condom we have tried so far.

There was one small downside, but we could easily go over it: we felt that Luwi wasn't (or maybe just not enough) lubricated. Insertion was okay and comfortable, however, I felt the need to add a very small amount of lube for penetration, which absolutely did the trick.

So if you are interested in trying female condoms, if you are used to this kind of products, if you are allergic to latex, or if you are just curious, we are pretty sure Luwi is an excellent product for you and you won't be disappointed at all.

      Bottom line
The best sensations we had using a condom so far!
