    1. Lifesaver

Reviewed: 01 April 2016 by Sxleksaker, a Straight Going Steady Female

I had been thinking about buying this toy for quite a while but refrained from it because I didn't know whether I would like the sensation or not and because of the price. When it got discontinued, I could no longer resist the temptation because of the great previous reviews and since I really wanted to experience this type of sensation (and this is a cheaper alternative to the Womanizer, which is supposed to have a similar function). I had to act fast, and I am glad I did.

First of all, this order arrived very quickly even though I live in Sweden and I ordered it over the Easter holiday. I also arrived in a brown discreet box, love it!

The Femme Fatale Clitorizer arrives in a beautiful box as seen on the pictures on this page. It looks really classy and would be perfect as a gift. Inside the box lies the Clitorizer, embedded in a soft material that is shaped to accommodate the Clitorizer. The box is great for storing your item (if you don't want to store it in the bag that is also included in the box) together with your charger.

The Clitorizer is USB-rechargeable, which is perfect for me since I live in Sweden and cannot use UK plugs. This made me so happy, since this toy is not available in Sweden. I plugged the item into my computer and charged it for one hour. I have used it for quite a while and still haven't had to recharge it, which is very impressive.

It is made from high-quality silicone and is seam-free and very smooth to the touch. It is actually perfectly shaped to fit -in the palm of my hand and is really easy to manoeuver. I must say I really think it looks beautiful and well made.

I have to admit, the first couple of times I used it, I was a bit confused exactly how to make the best out of it. This toy has a bit of a learning curve, you have to try it a couple of times to figure out exactly how to aim it and what intensity you like. This learning process is quite fun and exciting, though.

When I got the hang of it, I realized this is an extremely powerful toy. It has 10 speeds, but I only use the five first because of the intensity. The feeling is a combination of sucking and air blowing to cause vibrations. It feels really good and gets me to climax very fast and for a longer time than usual. I also get stronger orgasm than I have ever had in my life.

Another good thing about this wonderful toy is that it does not decrease the sensitivity of the clitoris as other vibrators do. It means that I am still very sensitive after using this toy, and easier could reach another orgasm using this toy with the help of my OH.

It is also really easy to use since the there are only two buttons for increasing and decreasing the speed and turning it on and off. Perfect!

Soundwise, I think it is quiet for the kind of power I get. It also gets even quieter once I hold the Clitorizer against my skin.

The cleaning of this toy is easy and only requires that you wipe it with some sex toy cleaner and then with water afterwards. I would have preferred if it was easier to clean the inside of the opening, since I find it a bit tricky to know if I have done a good enough cleaning job.

All in all, I must say that this toy is worth the price and more, even though it is an expensive toy. I am extremely happy with my purchase and love this kind of sensation. It is super easy to reach orgasm and the orgasms feel better than ever. You will not regret adding the Clitorizer to your collection.

    1. I've Never Had An Orgasm Like This Before

Reviewed: 25 March 2016 by LovehoneyAU - Carly, a Straight Single Female

Okay so, yes you read that title right. I'll start from the beginning...

So as soon as I saw that we had this toy in the 'What's New' section, I instantly fell in love with it. Not only is it the same kind of stimulation as the Womanizer (which I've wanted to try for a while) it's much more affordable and a lot nicer looking! (no offence Womanizer, but I just don't appreciate the combination of leopard print and 'Swarovski elements', and also why do you have to sound like a Britney Spears hit from 2008?).

Yes, it does look a little funny - but what sex toy doesn't really? As long as it does the job is what I say.

When I received it, oh my was the packaging pretty! I actually store it in the box it originally came with. It's discreet and well made, and that's just the box!

When I touched it I knew that I adored it - silicone is really all I go for these days. Everything else just feels a bit cheap. This is so soft to the touch.

Okay, so - the nitty gritty! I would advise using a very small amount of lubricant as the product page suggests. While not all that detrimental, lube is just something that you can't really go wrong with. I'd say it enhances the pleasure here too. The shape of the opening is a great size to cup the clitoris, and once you get it in the right spot...WOAH THERE. It's very powerful, but after a few uses you really get used to it.

The orgasms (yes I said plural!) I had the first time around were like nothing I've ever experienced. They would start very intense and sort of just spread slowly around my body. As I wasn't used to this sort of power before, I just kind of held off for a bit until I was ready. But as I mentioned, once you get used to it, it's really hard to stop.

Quite honestly I've become a bit addicted to it. It's my go-to toy now. My other toys are kind of suffering because of it! I imagine it's like Toy Story and they all talk and are really jealous of this new toy so they start an uproar... okay, I'm going on too many tangents here. But you get the point!

The charge time is short and you have 6 hours of play! Very impressed by that. It comes with a little satin bag too.

Please try this. You'll kick yourself when you get it that you hadn't gotten it sooner.

      10/10 would recommend.

    1. The most powerful toy I've ever tried

Reviewed: 20 February 2016 by Skitty, a Bisexual Going Steady Female

I was thrilled to be selected to test and review the Femme Fetale clitoral stimulator - thank you, Lovehoney! I'm lucky enough to also own the Womanizer W500, so will be trying to compare them to hopefully help people choose which they'd prefer.

The packaging for this toy is lovely because it feels luxurious but not over-the-top or wasteful. It has a cardboard sleeve that has the brand name and a picture of the toy, with product specifications on the back. This sleeve slips off to reveal a black box, plain except for 'Noire Fontaine' written in white writing on one of the ends with a little flower motif. It looks like a box for expensive perfume, so it's surprisingly discreet.

So far, even though I liked the presentation of my Womanizer W500, I was impressed by the elegance and discretion of the Femme Fetale. Despite being much less expensive, it feels like a classier toy.

Nestled inside the box is the Femme Fetale, and underneath is its charging cable, a black storage bag with 'Noire Fontaine' in white writing with a small flower motif again, and a small instruction leaflet.

To charge the toy, you insert the pointed end of the cable into a port at the front of the toy, underneath the power and (+) button. It slips through the silicone very smoothly, and the buttons light up, blinking red until eventually turning solid red when it's fully charged.

The product information boasts 6 hours of play per 1 hour charge, which is an amazing claim that I'm not certain any mere mortal could adequately test out, since it's possible to reach climax within 30 seconds with this toy. I think it would take me forever to get through the 6 hours of power at that rate, so it's nice not having to ration out its on-time because it gives you so many hours of play.

The silicone is gorgeously soft, and I much prefer how the Femme Fetale is all one solid piece, rather than the plastic body and detachable silicone head of the Womanizer W500. Again, this makes it feel like a higher quality item. I hadn't really noticed how strange it is that the Womanizer W500 has detachable nozzles that just loosely slot onto the toy, so I'm a big fan of the design of the Femme Fetale.

The Femme Fetale is much easier and more comfortable to hold than the W500 because of the longer, thinner handle, which has a great curve that fits comfortably into the palm. It's definitely better for having more control over angling the toy, and it's a much more naturally intuitive shape than the overly short, wide design of the W500.

The Femme Fetale has simple controls with just two buttons: a power button and a (+) button, although regrettably neither of them are diamante like the W500! Obviously the power button switches it on, and the (+) button turns up the speed, but once on, pressing the power button reduces the speed, and holding it turns the toy off. The toy has 10 intensity levels, so pressing the (+) button while the toy is on full will switch it off into standby mode. I think it would be better if pressing and holding did this, because if you haven't counted which setting you're on and you don't realise pressing it again will turn it off instead of increasing the speed more, it's a bit of a nuisance.

In terms of noise, the Femme Fetale and the Womanizer are both very similar. I'd say that while just running them while they're not in contact with skin, the Womanizer is a bit quieter, but it has a slower, more chugging sort of noise than the Femme Fetale. I find that the Femme Fetale noise blends into the background better because it's a faster, higher sort of noise, although it does probably sound more like a vibrator than the Womanzier does. When in contact with skin, I think that the Femme Fetale gets quieter than the Womanizer though, and I also find that it retains its contact seal with skin a lot better, meaning it's less prone to big noise spikes when it comes away from your skin.

The suction heads are designed slightly differently, with the Femme Fetale offering a slightly smaller, more circular hole than the Womanizer's larger, oval design. With the Womanizer, you do get two differently sized holes as they give you 2 nozzles, but both are much larger than the head of the Femme Fetale, and I find it a lot easier to get good suction with the Femme Fetale. This means I have much less tendency to press the Femme Fetale into myself too hard, which I find I do with the W500.

Because the Femme Fetale has more consistent suction, it also allows you to move more. There's no way you could grind against the Womanizer, but the Femme Fetale is great for this, and also a lot better for use during sex because of being able to move. It feels much easier to hold during sex, but the head is still an awkward shape to slot between two people in most positions. I found it gets knocked and jostled a lot, which feels uncomfortable because it has so much power that you always want to be in control of the pressure and positioning.

The Womanizer is better for stimulating a slightly larger area, but the Femme Fetale is great at pin-point stimulation, meaning that the Femme Fetale feels a lot more intense and direct. Both create a very similar feeling of mixing slight suction and vibration, but the Womanizer is a lower, slower, gentler feeling, whereas the first setting of the Femme Fetale is about comparable to the 3rd or 4th speed on the W500.

Both toys make the clitoris noticeably enlarged from the suction, but I find that the Womanizer creates sore tenderness sometimes, whereas with the Femme Fetale, I just feel pleasantly stimulated by the lightest touch, even a long time after orgasm.

I think that both the W500 and the Femme Fetale are a bit of a learning curve - the sort of thing that you need to have experience with and get used to before you can know exactly how you like to use it. Before trying the Femme Fetale , I thought that the W500 was intensely strong, but the Femme Fetale is much stronger. Somehow I really like it though, because with the extra suction and vibrations, I press it against myself less forcefully, so find that I end up with less over-sensitivity and soreness overall.

Perhaps the best way to tell you about how the Femme Fetale feels is to describe my very first experience with it. I wasn't feeling at all turned on, just curious about what it would feel like, so I gently held it against myself on the first setting. Immediately, it felt so good that, in the interests of testing, I started counting the seconds. By 30 seconds, I'd reached my first orgasm with it. It felt slightly too intense, but I think that's to be expected when learning how a very powerful new toy feels. I left it pressed against myself on the same setting, and, despite how intensely sensitive it felt during my first orgasm, it still felt great.

Within another 30 seconds, I was having my second orgasm. It felt much less rushed and forced this time, with much less desire to take away the stimulation at the point of orgasm.

Greedily, I kept it against myself, but found my legs shaking and tensing up as it felt better and better. I took a few minutes just breathing, relaxing, with it still in contact with my clitoris but not allowing my body to tense up. Then I turned up the speed, and found pleasure washing over me in waves, feeling my muscles tensing and relaxing as I experienced my third consecutive orgasm with this toy. It felt like it lasted ages this time, alternating between feeling my inner muscles tightening, and feeling the sensation on my clitoris, each feeling working together to make the feeling last and last.

Both the Femme Fetale and the W500 cause me to tense up like crazy when orgasming, so I do have to pace myself a bit because I get muscles aches in the back of my legs. This is my one negative thing about both the Womanizer and the Femme Fetale - they both allow for easy, powerful orgasms, and their ability to minimize sensitivity even allows for multiple orgasms, but this means that it can be difficult to decide when to stop.

I think that this toy will just get better and better the more I learn how to use it. While writing this review, in the interests of accurate testing of course, I decadently kept switching between using the Womanizer and using the Femme Fetale to see how they felt different. The Womanizer is nice for a gentle start, but pales in comparison to the power of the Femme Fetale, which, predictably, again made me orgasm without me having any intention of letting it.

Overall, I think if you can get used to the heightened intensity and vibrations of the Femme Fetale, it's a much better toy. Maybe if their prices were reversed, I'd say that the Womanizer is a fine budget alternative to the Femme Fetale, but seeing as actually the W500 is insanely more expensive than the Femme Fetale. I think the only reason to buy the Womanizer would be if you really think you wouldn't be able to stand the intensity of the Femme Fetale, or if you're that in love with diamante buttons (who could blame you?)

I'm very happy to see a more affordable alternative to the Womanizer that actually does a load of things much better than the W500 rather than just being a pale imitation. It's a great toy in its own right and I think it will be a really pivotal experience for a lot of people looking for something new, different and powerful.

Lovehoney are really outdoing themselves in their role as the 'sexual happiness people' by providing this little gem to the world - I can certainly vouch that it's made me very happy already and I have a feeling that once people try the Femme Fetale, the Womanizer isn't necessarily going to be the one clear choice for contactless clitoral stimulation any more.

    2. Overall Rating:
      10 out of 10 stars
      Pros
Powerful sensation, possible to orgasm in seconds, soft silicone, easy to hold.
      Cons
The intensity of orgasm causes me prolonged muscle tension!
      Bottom line
In my opinion, better than the Womanizer W500.
