What's up, Doc? Well, take a look and find out. This beginners speculum is transparent, easy to insert and features just one adjustable section to make use supremely straightforward. Plus it's made of plastic for zero chills during insertion.

When closed, the insertable section has a 3.75 inch girth at it's widest point, and length of 3.5 inches that's comfortable for the patient. Once inserted, the Doctor (your partner) simply needs to twist the red toggle to gradually crank the 'duck bill' open for a greater view.

Achieve anything up to a 4 inch opening that enables easier access to internal pleasure points, such as the G-spot and cervix. Just make sure you always use this spreader with plenty of water-based lube to help insertion and stretch.

Please note: This speculum is not suitable for anal exploration.

    1. Beginning our journey

Reviewed: 01 June 2016 by Lovethekink, a Straight Married Female

For some time my partner has been interested in introducing a speculum into our bedroom play. Whilst a little dubious at first and hesitant on spending money on something which I wasn't too sure on, when this came up on the testers list I couldn't pass up the opportunity to give it a try.

As always, our parcel arrived discreetly packaged in a brown box, inside of which the speculum sat in a clear plastic bag, a little more budget looking than I expected but for the price this wasn't too much of a surprise.

Once in the plastic packaging and holding the speculum I had serious doubts about its durability, as in all honesty this looked quite flimsy and I was concerned about it trapping skin and pinching my intimate areas.

A few glasses of wine later when feeling more relaxed we opted to give this a try. With plenty of water-based lube and the speculum fully closed this slid in well with no pain or pinching, this is where the fun began. With lubed up hands, the task of winding the small red screw to widen the speculum is near impossible. So keep a towel to hand to wipe your hands to make this a little easier!

Surprisingly, the speculum opens rather wide, certainly wide enough to get a good view and even to use with some toys to add a new element to play, there was no pinching when winding either much to my surprise and when winding down just be sure to wind down fully and slide out slowly.

A perfect introduction to speculums for us!

I received this item for free to review it. It arrived in basic packaging, which is okay with me.

Don't like over packaged things. I thought it would have been a bit flimsy and break easily as it is cheap to buy, but I was pleasantly surprised.

I've used it twice since receiving it and it's quite strong, easy to use, and very comfy when inserted inside.

It's something I've been debating whether to buy or not for a while as I'm into bondage and it's great.

I love it and will be buying a metal one as I will be using this a lot more in our roleplay.

    1. Suprisingly good

Reviewed: 30 June 2016 by Blueeyes82, a Straight Single Female

I love my fetish side but I have never walked into the medical side of the fetish world. This hasn’t been something I really felt I could get into, seeing as I have had a varied past with operations and such. Don’t get me wrong, it does intrigue me and this review is the first time I’ve tried an apparatus like this, either sexually or to review.

Before starting, you need to make sure you have a good water-based lubricant, for me as we’re opening up our lady bits, I would prefer to use something like YES organic water-based lube.

You also need to be as relaxed as possible, otherwise, when the speculum is inserted, it can feel uncomfortable. Personally, I found that being on the edge of the bed, laying on your back, put the soles of your feet together and let your legs rest down, kind of like a yoga position. It might help if you put a pillow under your bum too.

Unscrew the speculum, so that the ‘beak’ is closed and lube it up, don’t be shy with the lube, the more you apply the better! Have your partner slowly insert the speculum and this is where you need to be confident and direct your partner! Once in, screw the orange cap so that the beak opens up. It has the capacity to open up fully to 4 inches. Ladies, it’s important that don’t tense up your kegels - because this is a plastic, albeit medical grade, you could squeeze a little too hard and well, it may make your eyes water!

This Bondage Boutique Vaginal Speculum has a length of 3.5 inches and 3.75 inches girth at it’s widest. It’s made from a see-through plastic material and contains no latex or phthalates, which makes it 100% body safe.

Usually, I can give a sex toy product a couple of tries to know my feelings but with this vaginal speculum, I had to use it over a matter of 3 weeks before I got into my ‘groove’. I wasn’t a duck to water with this product but we did have fun with it. It allowed my partner to see my G-spot grow with excitement and let my submissive side take over. Once I was able to relax, I enjoyed our time with it. For what is essentially a movable piece of plastic, it did give me and Mr. Monkey a fair bit of pleasure!

Very durable, easy to use and if you have a slim vibrator to hand, you can easily slip it through the speculum opening and tease her G-spot

I will add a side note: Unscrew the speculum with lube-free hands, otherwise it’s a bit like watching a comedy clip on YouTube.

Lovehoney’s discreet packaging always holds up its side of the bargain. There was no direct indication that my naughty parcel was coming from a very teasing HQ of pleasure. I was a little worried to see that the speculum itself only comes in a thin plastic sealed bag and I hoped my item was safe, which is was.

I may not venture into the medical fetishism side but I won’t be putting this speculum away for good!
