I got this toy in the blue colour as this colour is the most beautiful. :)

I can say this one is 100 per cent wonderful and something special as I've never seen anything like this before.

It is a bit loud but that's just it doing its job. :)

It looks like the real movement of a tongue and I really like it a lot. Ora is going to be my new best friend from the Lelo collection. :)

Quality is very good as usual.

Also, I ordered this toy without reading any reviews because it was new and I didn't find reviews on the internet, so I took a risk - but I am really happy with the Ora. If you are thinking to buy or not to buy, I can say to buy it. :)

      Very nice.

    1. Blind faith, worth it

Reviewed: 11 February 2014 by littlehoneybee, a Straight Going Steady Female

There were no reviews anywhere for the Lelo Ora when I saw it here. I've bought Lelo before and the quality was always good so I went on faith and bought it.

It looks beautiful and feels amazing. The "tongue" feature under the surface has 2 modes; circular or semi-circular. As well as this, it also vibrates... powerfully!

This is the first time I've used a vibrator on one of the preprogrammed settings, they're all amazing and work well to build you up. The buttons are easy to navigate, especially as you have the hole in the middle to stabilise the vibe with your fingers.

The movement of the ball underneath the rubber adds something completely different and it certainly like no other toy I've ever seen. Because the "tongue" moves itself, you can happily just hold the vibe in place and let it do it's work. You can also have it set without vibrations.

I'd suggest lots of lube to really feel the swishing movement. It won't replace the real thing (so partners can rest easy!) but it's pretty close! The ball moving is quite loud, but it actually reminded me of the noise a quiet printer would make; so others may not assume the noise was from a toy.

If the ball simulating the tongue were a little bit bigger and had more than one speed, then it would be perfect, it can sometimes be a little hard to feel it in the right place, but once you've found the angle, you're away.

    1. Much better than the Sqweel for me

Reviewed: 31 August 2014 by Laveila, a Straight Single Female

I was wondering about oral sex toys simulators for a while now. I did have the Sqweel 2, until it broke few months back and I replaced it with Sqweel Go. While I do enjoy the Sqweel, I sometimes feel like something is missing. Possibly because the stimulation is very light and often makes me want slightly more than the Sqweel can give. I was wondering how the Ora would compare and in the end I decided to give into the temptation.

      The packaging

As usual, the Ora comes in the luxury box, but I was personally a bit disappointed that this does not come with the USB charge like my Tara did. And also the usual sample of Lelo lube was not included in the packaging.

The Ora came locked, and upon unlocking I found that the toy came already charged, so I was able to test the toy straight away.

      In use:

The first time I used this toy I was not blown away. I was actually not able to orgasm at all and I had to use another toy to finish. But the second time I had more patience and I experimented a bit. I tried various settings and different vibration strengths until I found the setting which works just best for me.

The toy has different modes; some are with vibrations, some without. When the vibration is on, you can control its strengths by pressing plus and minus bottom. The difference between the various settings is also in the vibrating pattern and also in the movement of the stimulating nodule, which can move round in circles or half circles.

When I found my favourite setting, then I really started to enjoy the play. The pleasure was slowly building, rather than the fast build-up I usually get with one of my bullet vibes. It did take me longer to reach an orgasm, but I personally found it worth it because the orgasm felt longer and slightly deeper, when I finally reached it. I was able to reach an orgasm every time I played with this toy after that.

While I do like this toy, I have to say that, apart from the good points, there were few things, which I would like to change about the Ora. Here are both the good and bad points:

      Good:

Firmer stimulation for me compared to the Sqweel

      Various settings

      Different vibration strengths

      Easy to hold

One charge will be enough for several play times - I have yet to recharge the toy

      Rechargeable and waterproof

      Bad:

Only one speed of the stimulating nodule

The toy could use stronger vibrations - the vibrations are in the middle range

Cleaning is very easy, as the toy is fully waterproof. So there is no need to worry about water damaging your toy.

      Overall:

This is good toy and I do think it will work for lot of people who are looking for oral sex simulating toy. And possibly found the Sqweel not firm enough. At least for me, the Lelo Ora worked better than the Sqweel. Apart from the firmer stimulation, also it has the advantage of added vibrations. But I do think the Ora could use some improvements, starting from the increasing speed of the stimulating moving nodule to the vibrating strength, which could profit from a strength increase.

I would recommend the toy if you want to try something new and if you know you will be okay with about middle strength vibrations. If you want a powerful toy, then this toy will not be for you.

Good toy which allows for experimentation, but some may not like it.

    1. Excellent toy - in theory

Reviewed: 26 February 2014 by LadyofLove, a Straight Going Steady Female

The moment I saw this sexy, stylish little thing, I wanted it... I had serious sex toy/gadget fever and it wouldn't leave my mind until I knew I had one in the post. Suddenly my world seemed incomplete and in my mind, the only thing that would make my life complete again was by pushing that 'purchase' button...

As per all Lelo products, the Ora screams style. It's beautifully packaged, the colour is fabulous, and the quality is second to none...

      But...

Upon taking this bad boy for a test spin, I found myself disappointed on several levels. The 'tongue' I felt, wasn't strong enough... It's a gesture, but there is much left to be desired - Really, I'd say that this is still just a clitoral stimulator - not an oral sex stimulator. And the trouble is, once you whack up the vibrations, the tongue movement is completely lost because the whole thing is shaking so damn hard! I'm not knocking the vibrations by the way - they were awesome and were what eventually got my rocks off, but it's supposed to be a oral sex simulator, and I just didn't get that.

The second thing that irritated me, was the noise of the tongue. I see another customer has already mentioned this, and I have to say, it just distracted me! I felt I couldn't get in the zone because I kept hearing the funny whirring noise which reminded me that I was in fact using a machine, not a man!

Having said all this, I still had a great orgasm, but I can whole heartedly say that this was due to the vibrations and as far as I'm concerned, the tongue may as well have not been there.

It seems to me, that Lelo have come up with a magnificent idea, but like many of their first runs, it needs to be improved. I eagerly anticipate the birth of an 'Ora 2' (if such a product ever comes out!) and will be purchasing it in the hope that the tongue is bigger, stronger, and quieter, and that they also improve the battery life.

But for now... back to the Soraya!

    1. Could be much more

Reviewed: 23 August 2014 by IrishRose, a Straight Single Female

I have been very curious about how Lelo have taken on oral simulation with Ora. I thought it looked intriguing but it had a high price tag for just plain curiosity. Luckily for me, Lovehoney offer great deals and I was able to get Ora at a severely reduced price. Thank you, guys! This is why I never go anywhere else now that I have found Lovehoney!

Lovehoney sent me my order out in a plain brown box with very discreet labels. No worries about people knowing what you got, now that will give you some confidence to shop at Lovehoney.

Lelo have won various awards for their product packing and Ora is no exception. The outer box is sleek and classy with an abstract photo of Ora. I love the inner black embossed card box, which is sturdy and great for storing Ora safely. The packing Lelo have promotes the luxurious quality of their products.

Ora came with a UK charger, a manual, a black satin drawstring bag and a warranty card. I would suggest making sure you register your Lelo product using the warranty card.

Ora is nicely presented on velvet like cushion. I like the feel of Ora’s soft touch silicone. The silicone is smooth and seam free. One of the reasons I like Lelo is because of the high quality materials they use to make their products.

After I finished charging Ora I turned it on and boy did I hear it before I felt it. Ora is by no means the quietest vibrator, I found even on the lowest setting. So if your conscious about noises you might want to crank you the radio. Even under the blanket I found the noise level to be high.

Now that I got over the noise and put some of my tunes, I got down to actually using it. So first I applied water-based lube to Ora, and myself then got it in place and started it up. I really did not feel the ball on its own more the vibrations, so to try out the ball on its own. I turned off the vibrations and found I really couldn’t feel the ball much, so I adjusted it until I knew it would hit in just the right way. It still didn’t do much for me without the vibrations. If I pressed down to hard, the ball would slow down.

I did enjoy it with the vibration on. Though the pad where the ball is thin silicone so the vibrations were a bit stronger than I was expecting.

I do believe that Ora has potential to be a great product. I think the ball might need to be bigger and more powerful. I still like Ora but it’s not perfect but it could be. The design and concept are good.

It is waterproof so I just sprayed it with some sex toy cleaner rinsed and left to air dry, then I popped it into its satin bag and back into the box safe foe next time.

So would I recommend Ora? Well yes and no. If you are a power queen then I really would not suggest it, but if you like more spread out vibrations than pinpointed then I would say to get Ora.

It’s a high quality product that has a high price tag, but with great deals from Lovehoney and an amazing returns department, if the Ora is really not for you then within a year return it.
