    1. In a pinch

Reviewed: 12 June 2014 by krissynovacaine, a Bisexual Engaged Female

These are basically amazing. There's a bit of a learning curve on using them, so be prepared to have to adjust them at first until you learn what works for the nipples you are squishing with these. In my quest for a nipple toy that fits my large and pierced breasts, I haven't found anything close to how well these work.

These are made of two thin metal sticks held together at the ends with the PVC caps. There are two rings per bar. The way these work is that the nipple is placed between the two sticks while the rings can tighten the tension depending on where they are placed along the bar. The closer to the nipple the rings are, the tighter the tension is. For me, the sensation ranged from quite pleasurable to nicely painful to "ow ow take it off". Of course, a certain sadist prefers that they are closer to the painful side, but we have enjoyed the range of sensation.

I have a metal allergy, and while I can't find any information on what kind of metal that these are made from, they haven't bothered me at all. The PVC caps are latex free by the specifications. I do not have a latex allergy, so I can't tell you if they caused a reaction or not.

These are really nice quality. Dom Pants isn't the most gentle person in the world. In fact, he basically is the example of a bull in a china shop. At no point have the Nipple Clamp Bars bent at all. So far, they've held up fantastically. I am super pleased that the quality is exceeding clamps I have spent $20 or even $30.

These offer a lot of options. You can wear them vertically or horizontally. We favour vertically because of aesthetics. You can wear them with nipple jewellery as long as you are careful during the whole process. I think they are quite pretty with my nipple bars, Again, please, please be careful. No one wants ripped out jewellery. No one.

Once these are on, you can have a lot of fun gently pulling, taping, or twisting the bars for even more varied sensations. Each action can elicit a pleasurable to painful sensation depending on preference and intensity of action. I, personally, am not a fan of tapping, but the pulling and twisting sensations are quite nice until a certain sadist goes out of his way to make them painful.

Overall, I can't find anything to complain about. At all. The price on these is fantastic. The construction is sturdy. And they are effective for a range of sizes and shapes. The rest of the line seems exciting, and I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on more.

    1. Not for the faint of heart

Reviewed: 31 January 2014 by Wildcherry, a Bisexual Married Female

I am always intrigued with nipple clamps and I think it’s safe to say we've tried a large variety that is with the exception of split bars. So as soon as I saw the DOMINIX Adjustable nipple clamp bars I was more than tempted and I just had to have them.

As soon as they arrived I was eager to get them to work. Sat in my palm they do look rather intimidating, made of steel and 8 inches in length, although they are not entirely as pictured as the bars sit closed but are smooth and contain two small rings on each bar.

I was slightly too impatient to wait for my hubby so I decided to test them myself. As previously mentioned, they are not exactly as the picture shows so you will need to pry the bar open yourself, but before doing so you should have a ring placed to each side otherwise you will struggle to fully open the bar and you won’t get the full effect.

After slowly sliding your nipple inside the clamp (I cannot put enough emphasis on how gently and slowly you should be doing this), slide the rings towards your nipple to gradually increase and away to decrease the intensity on your nipples. I must say it is deliciously good, just gently touching the bar gave such a marvellous sensation. Alternatively, for a more painful feeling, just gently tugging or twisting the bar gives a nice little sting whilst keeping you totally in control.

Overall, if you are just starting out, I wouldn't recommend these as a starter clamp as they may be a little too harsh. Although if you are more advanced with your clamps they are amazingly good. I love how you can remain in control with the intensity and alternate between a lovely tingling sensation to a delicious pain. And unlike some clamps with rubber feet, these do not dig into my flesh and cause an uncomfortable feeling.

However I have but one complaint. I found using them the first time on my own incredibly difficult, as I don’t have the smallest of nipples and the bars where a little stiff to pry open whilst still keeping the rings to each side. But I'm sure with practice I will eventually master this or learn to be more patient!

    1. Intense and painful

Reviewed: 24 July 2014 by PinkPolkaDot

I made the mistake of using these as my first pair of nipple clamps, without even warming up my nipples. Yeah, please don't do that.

My nipples were shocked by the intense pain these deliver, and it took a while for them to get back to normal after being squished by some mean-looking metal bars.

The DOMINIX Nipple Clamp Bars look so plain and unintimidating, but they are very painful. They arrive in a simple plastic bag, which is very minimal and I like that very much. They're easy enough to put on and adjust, you just place your nipple in the middle and move the little loops as desired.

I had to buy a pair of beginner alligator nipple clamps to use, so that my nipples could get used to those first. After that, everything went smoothly. But it does take a while to get used the sensations these bars deliver. I would honestly recommend loads of warm-up before putting these on. Massage, pinching and biting tends to work well for me, but using a pair of gentle nipple clamps gets my nipples used to pain, which is more constant than biting, etc.

I can't say I can feel any difference between the different stages of adjustment. It all feels like pain to me, but I always use them on the most gentle setting.

They're so big! They look almost silly on, and I can't have them on completely horizontally because they knock against each other, which makes them even more painful. I guess that could be a positive thing for some people. The anticipation of the knocking can be quite thrilling, if you're into pain. Also, the touching will vary based on the size of your breasts and the placement of your nipples; mine are fairly small, so the bars overlap.

Being made out of metal, they feel quite cold initially, but you can warm them up as desired. I think they could also be cooled down for temperature play, but I'm not sure if they'd rust from frequent exposure to water because the metal doesn't look like it's coated with anything to protect it.

Overall, these are great nipple clamp bars. Certainly not for beginners, but if you're into nipple play, and like intensity and pain, these are perfect. They're slightly too much for me most of the time because I need to take the time to warm up my nipples to use them, but they're good for when I'm in the mood for serious nipple play.
