    1. Miracle Worker

Reviewed: 13 August 2015 by AWilki, a Straight Married Female

Having had 3 children, one of which caused me severe peritoneal tearing during birth, I'd suffered for years with stress incontinence and it was getting me down. No matter how many exercises I did, nothing worked! Until the Itouch.

You can treat urge incontinence and stress incontinence with this, or a combination of the two. You get a little control module - about the size of an old flip mobile phone, and the probe which is small and very well shaped to slip in and remain in place with no pain or stretching. You could easily wear it all day and not feel discomfort.

Pop some lube on the probe. It's very easily inserted and very comfortable, and then turn on the machine and off you go. I set it quite low to begin with, but quickly ramped up the levels and found that it wasn't painful at all, more tingly and buzzy inside and you could clearly feel your pelvic floor contract and release with the charge.

You start off on a low setting and shorter time, and build up. I normally pop it in at bedtime, and then just read my book for half an hour while it does its thing. Give it a quick wash and put it back in its bag and go off to sleep.

The big question is 'does it work'? And, yes, it most certainly does! I've found that I am much tighter, and I can run now without any leakage and even jump on a trampoline, something that was impossible before.

It also gives you far more sensation during sex and far stronger orgasms - so a win win all around, and worth every penny to hang onto your dignity and enjoy your sex life for longer. I can't recommend it highly enough!

    1. It really works and is really easy to use

Reviewed: 24 May 2015 by LadyBlueEyes

I have been using this since 10/04/15 and it’s now 24/05/15 (I wanted to use it for at least over a month and see good results before leaving feedback if it worked for me). Great for after childbirth and wanting to tone up the pelvic floor muscles.

I have been using it on the mixed setting for both stress and urge mixed together on the mixed setting, so it can work on both types of incontinence. I had it on the automatic 20-minute timer setting for the mixed setting and I stored it on to the memory, so when I switch it on it comes on to the setting I want automatically. I been using it every day for 20-minutes.

I can honestly say I was a bit skeptic at first if this may work, but I’m happy to say it has proven me wrong and it really does work. After child birth your pelvic floor muscles may cause you to leak a couple drops of urine if you cough, sneeze, jump or any kind of strenuous exercises. This is due to putting pressure on the bladder during pregnancy and even damage to the bladder after pregnancy and can even cause prolapse which may need surgery to correct it.

When you work the pelvic floor muscles and have really strong pelvic floor muscles, the muscles are able to resist urinary leakage caused by external pressure being applied to the bladder such as coughing, sneezing or physical exertion/ strenuous exercise.

I just wanted to tone up my pelvic floor muscles after child birth. My son is now 9 years-old and I had really weak pelvic floor muscles since the pregnancy, and it goes to show you can still tone the pelvic floor muscles back up even after a very long time, which is great! It’s really easy to use and really works.

Also, it can fit into your schedule, only 20 mins a day. I wish I discovered this sooner, as it really does work. I don’t have any problems leaking urine while coughing, sneezing or during strenuous exercise anymore. It has really boosted my confidence and wellbeing. I am very happy with the results and would recommend it to family and friends.

It says with the stress setting you need to use it once a day, for one to three months, and you can expect to see results after four weeks (page 5 in the booklet which comes with the Itouch Sure pelvic floor exerciser). I have been using it for over a month and I have seen real results. For the urge setting, you can see results after using it once a day, for two weeks (page 6 in the booklet).

Also strengthening your pelvic floor muscles really does improve your sex life for both you and your partner, as your partner will notice your enjoying sex more. This is due to stronger pelvic floor muscles, muscles that run along the pelvic floor and surround the entire vagina. These are the muscles that contract during orgasm. Stronger pelvic floor muscles mean increased sensations during sex and stronger orgasms. Also great for helping you strengthen your pelvic floor muscles after pregnancy or weak pelvic floor muscles and is really easy to use.

I am now going to start using the toning program/setting, to further tone and maintain my pelvic floor muscles on the 20 minutes setting to strengthen them further and maintain my pelvic floor muscles. It says in the booklet, once you use the toning setting you only need to use it twice a week, it will help the pelvic floor muscles remain fit and toned (page 7).

If you are thinking of buying this, buy it! It really does work and you will wish you brought it sooner!! You will see real results and it's really easy to use.

    1. An investment in sexual health

Reviewed: 14 May 2015 by Lovehoney - Dani, a Straight Single Female

I’m a paranoid sort when it comes to pelvic floor health. I rant on with the following disclosure every time I post about it, in case there are other women in my situation: I am 24, childless. Pelvic organ prolapse runs in my family, and I am a smoker so I’m at higher risk for it as well. I have a short vaginal canal. Worse during certain times of my cycle, of course. I suspect I have some level of vaginal numbness as some sensations within my canal feel dull and imprecise, and because of that, combined with side effects of medications, I’ve been looking to improve the intensity of my orgasms (and my partner’s!).

I have a few Kegel balls which have been... okay. The lighter ones don’t feel like they’re working me out at all, and the super advanced ones just seem too intimidatingly heavy. Everything in between just feels that little bit too clumsy for regular use.

I am, however, fairly new to electrostim products and was extremely curious to find out what sort of sensation this device would create, along with wondering if it’d ramp my PC muscle control from “intermediate” to “advanced”! So I decided I’d give this one a try.

The product is of pleasant quality - the handheld unit looks quite unassuming like something you’d pick up from an electronics store, not particularly premium though. However, the important part, the probe, is smooth, seam-free and comfortable to use. It’s not the sexiest of items, what with the stark white cables and reassuring “beep!” every time you press the button - it’s quite a sterile looking thing.

I wrapped my hand firmly around the probe, selected the “Tone” setting and started to dial up the settings. At about 20 I could feel gentle pins and needles through my hand - not entirely unpleasant, but reminiscent of having your hand come back to life after it falls asleep.

In the Tone mode, for example, the device runs at 35Hz. It cycles up from zero to the highest selected intensity in 2 seconds, holds it there for 3, and then dials back down to zero in 2 seconds. This information can be found in a reference table towards the end of the enclosed manual. It offers programs specifically for managing incontinence which vary in their intensity and timing, and you can also source other accessories direct from the supplier as required (larger or smaller vaginal probe, anal probe for rectal incontinence, electrode pads, etc).

So anyway. Pins and needles. I had reservations about letting this thing near my sensitive spots, but in the name of science and awesome orgasms - I lubed her up, settled back on the couch (exercising while watching TV, how great is that!) and popped her in. Slowly, cautiously, I dialled it up until I could feel something - in my case, to 40.

The sensation, at first, had me in absolute hysterics. No pins and needles whatsoever - this was like an involuntary series of muscle spasms. My vagina was... shuddering? Shaking? Basically, tensing, releasing slightly, tensing again, much quicker than I could ever do voluntarily, then relaxing completely. It felt bizarre. It felt new. It made me giggle.

I found my whole body was tensing up in anticipation and response to such an odd sensation and it took me a while to relax enough to forget about it, but, sure enough, eventually the 20 minutes were up. Too easy!

The subsequent few times I used it I noticed the sensation was less intense so I dialled it up, first to 50, then to 58. During second and third uses I noticed more sensation of tensing specifically through the muscles controlling the urethra, so it’s good to know that it exercises these specific muscles and gives your entire pelvic floor a workout.

I also noticed that the sensation felt a little stronger on one side of the vagina than the other. Being a bi-polar unit, I assume that is the result of how the current passes through the probe. I try to rotate the unit between uses ,so I’m getting the same workout all over my insides!

Also, I noticed this can be felt almost as a pinching at the very top of my vagina. If the probe is even slightly crooked, so make sure your knickers aren’t pressing against the cable or the flange and setting it askew - I found it far more comfortable to do my lady exercises sans-pants.

After a few weeks now, I am noticing far more strength in my Kegel exercises. I now use the device at 80 and above and it doesn’t feel painful or intense at all, it feels the same way it did when I started out at 40 and, dare I say, actually really pleasant! It’s my favourite part of my evening routine, lying on the couch with that fluttery feeling in my nether regions.

The effect so far has been extremely noticeable during sex and masturbation for both myself and my partner. I am tighter, stronger and my orgasms have been more intense. I am also becoming more sensitised and "awake" down there and more responsive to G-spot stimulation. That's why, even though it's not technically a giver of orgasms, I'm giving it the highest Orgasm Rating - it's empowered my vagina like nothing else!

This item is a big investment but it works. If you feel like Kegel balls are too big and unwieldy but you really want to tone up, it may be worth looking into this style.

Straightforward, easy to use, easy to clean, puts you in complete control.
It'd be awesome if it was rechargeable but otherwise, no issues whatsoever.
      Bottom line
A long-term investment that's worth making, whether for prevention or cure.
