I was delighted when this beauty arrived in the post, I initially couldn't stop groping it through the packaging! It was firm, yet squishy and bendy. I got the red one, which, in real life, looks much more "cartoony" red (opaque, all one shade, bright red) than the translucent effect in the picture, but I didn't mind. The size is great. I still loved the size, shape and feel, and was hoping the smell would wear off over time, and with use. This was not to be, unfortunately. It's now about 6 months since I bought it, and the unpleasant smell (and, I'm told, taste) is every bit as strong as when I first got it. Repeated washing, use, and storage in a bag has seemed to have had absolutely no effect on the smell whatsoever. This left My clothes and other toys reeking of rubber as well. It took several days of hanging up and airing out to dissipate the smell from My other things. The smell is Very Strong, I cannot emphasise this too much.

Unfortunately, the smell was just too intolerable, and unrelentingly persistent over time, so, disappointingly, My only option was to throw it away.
