    1. Fantastic

Reviewed: 29 March 2014 by Miss_Sensation, a Bisexual Single Female

This is the most powerful wand I have ever used on someone else and that has ever been used on me. The combination of the number of different speeds, along with the pulse settings, was stunning. And it is incredibly quiet, which is absolutely amazing.

I, personally, can take quite a high setting and this took it to the next level compared to other wands, but you do really have to build up it. When the orgasms came they just rolled on and on and on.

Using it on someone else, I found I had to build up really slowly, but then found I didn't get that high before she came - lovely. :-)

One thing I wasn't so sure about was that, when it first switched on, it didn't come at the low speed setting.

I also found that I didn't end up with a numb hand, which sometimes happens when holding other wands at high settings.

All in all, it's absolutely fantastic. Not enough superlative adjectives to describe the experience.

    1. It really does w(a)nders

Reviewed: 20 February 2014 by Mr. Swank, a Straight Single Male

In my (male) opinion this is a sound investment. I bought one to surprise my partner and do not regret it in the slightest (neither does she). It is very intuitive to use and simple, very well built, ergonomic and comfortable. It comes into its own due to the various settings of strength but especially in pulsating mode.

If you are not sure which one to use, choose one and touch the tip of your nose with the vibrating head. That will give you an idea of how comfortable it is for you and will allow you to choose the right setting if you are a beginner. It can also be used in less erogenous areas as a way to ease into play in my experience. Shoulders, back as a deep tissue massage. Light, powerful and always gets the right spot. In my opinion a must have.

    1. The most powerful vibrator I have ever used

Reviewed: 09 September 2013 by Fluffbags, a Straight Going Steady Female

      Operation and design:

The Doxy Massager is a mains operated vibrator. Simply plug it into a wall socket and you are ready to begin. It comes with a very long power cable, which I measured at 2.85 inches (112 inches) not including the wand itself, which should be enough for most people, so long as you have a plug socket reasonably close to your bed. The cord stretched more than half way across my bedroom before becoming taut. The only thing to bear in mind is that the plug is quite large and protrudes out more than standard plugs.

The Doxy is very simple to operate. It comes with three large buttons which are easy to see, reach and press. The power button turns the Doxy on and off, and the plus and minus buttons control the vibration power. Using the plus button will cause the Doxy to vibrate stronger, and the minus button reduces the power. You can use the plus and minus buttons in two different ways. You can either use a quick click of the button to cycle through the power settings one by one, and when used this way, I could feel a speed increase/decrease with each click (I counted 9 different power settings) or you can simply press and hold either the plus or minus button for a fast ramp up, or down, in power.

The Doxy massager also comes with a pulse setting, which can be activated my pressing and holding down the power button for 3 or 4 seconds and you can alter how fast the Doxy pulses at by using the plus and minus buttons. The plus button will make the Doxy pulse faster, and the minus will slow down the pulsing.

      In Use:

The Doxy is the most powerful vibrator I have experienced. It even knocks my old favourite, the Lovehoney Deluxe, mains powered, magic wand to rank 2 on my power list. As for all other vibrators that are not mains powered? Forget about it. The Doxy is in a league of its own, on a pedestal, waving down at them. This beast can bring me to orgasm easily on its LOWEST setting, and even the pulsation mode is fantastic and can make me come and I am a power seeker, who cannot orgasm easily, if at all, from things like standard battery operated bullet vibrators, or any other vibrators for that matter that do not pack a decent punch.

The only other vibrator I have tried that even comes close to the Doxy for power is the Lovehoney Deluxe Magic Wand, which, to be fair, vibrates at around the same speed as the Doxy, but the Lovehoney wands vibrations seem to feel shallow in comparison with the Doxy. I never thought I would ever be using the words 'shallow vibrations' to describe the Lovehoney wand, because before I got the Doxy, the Lovehoney Deluxe was the most powerful vibrator I had ever used, but there you go. There is a wand with even deeper vibrations than the Lovehoney Deluxe, one of my favourite vibrators, and that is the Doxy Massager. This vibrator has not failed me yet.

It isn't all good news though. The Doxy vibrates so powerfully, that when used against your clitoris or penis on higher levels, it just hurts and numbs. I began to experience uncomfortable stabbing sensations against my clitoris at around level 4 out of 9 and I believe this is caused by A) The sheer power of the Doxy at the higher power settings and B) The PVC head, vibrating so quickly that it essentially pushed most of the lubricant out from between the head of the wand and the contact point on my body, causing friction and potential nipping/rubbing harshly at my skin.

I cannot be sure what caused those stabbing sensations but they happen most of the time for me. Using lashings of lubricant does reduce this sensation, but as already mentioned, the wands head pushes a lot of the lube away and it vibrates so fast against the skin that it does dry up the lubricant fast. I recommend using silicone lubricant, as the Doxy just dries up water based lubricants in seconds. It is also worth pointing out that the PVC head gets warm very quickly (within minutes) when you have it set to the higher settings, which actually makes the body massage feel even better, but I do worry that this could be damaging to the wand eventually.

So is this a bad thing? Nope. The Doxy is no ordinary vibrator and I soon realised I was trying to bite off much more than I could chew, by using my normal masturbation technique and switching my vibrator to full. As a power seeker, this is what I had grown accustomed to. The Doxy has changed my opinion to this; If I can enjoy a nice relaxing orgasm from setting 1, a quick, comfortable and guaranteed orgasm from setting 2, a fast, furious and forced orgasm from setting 3 and setting 4 being on the verge of what I can stand anyway, why would I even need to worry what settings 5 and above feel like against my clitoris? I don't need them, and I would be surprised if many people would, so I don't worry, nor do I care. I simply save the last few power settings for times when I want a deep, thumping body massage, rather than an orgasm.

The higher settings feel painful against our most sensitive parts, but they are certainly fantastic at providing a deep, thumping body massage. The vibrations are so strong that when I place the Doxy against my mid back area and switch it up to its highest setting, I could feel my whole head vibrating so much I had to turn it down. It is THAT powerful.

      Summary:

The Doxy is the most powerful vibrator I have ever used. So powerful that I cannot stand it against my clitoris on the higher settings, but the lower settings are mind-blowing. It is above and beyond anything I have ever experienced in any standard battery operated vibrator. The Doxy can even FORCE me to orgasm, which would make it ideal for anyone into power play and domination. It doesn't have to be forced though, and the first 3 power settings are perfect for enjoyable, intense orgasms.

This vibrator is even suitable for men who enjoy vibrations, as the large, squishy head can be placed against the penis for intense sensations. I would recommend it, mostly to power queens and anyone looking for the next step up in vibrations, but if you prefer gentle, teasy vibrations, step away. Even on the lowest setting, the Doxy has a reasonably strong vibration that is probably comparable to the vibrations felt on standard, quality toys at their highest setting.
