Intensify your e-stim pleasure with this radial dildo from ElectraStim. Featuring bi-polar contacts that wrap around the shaft horizontally, experience stronger sensations with every thrust for more satisfying electrosex play.
Discover the pleasures of electro sex with this radial dildo. The unusual design features contacts that wrap around the shaft horizontally for 360-degree stimulation of your A-spot and G-spot. Designed to isolate sensation to the pair of slimline contacts, enjoy more intense stimulation than you'd experience using electrodes with larger contacts.
If you've ever tried pulsating or thrusting vibrators and found them to fall short of your expectations, you'll love ElectraStim dildos. When plugged into an ElectraStim power unit, the stimulation coursing through the contacts creates a pleasant tingle that causes your pelvic floor to contract around the shaft. Set your power unit to a pattern setting and your erotic muscles will contract in time with the pulsation, feeling similar to an orgasm that lasts.
Not only does the sensation feel exciting, it also helps you tone your pelvic floor muscles during play. Take that, inferior thrusters!
Made from medical-grade plastic with stainless steel contacts, the finish is completely body safe for your peace of mind.
Please note: Requires an ElectraStim power unit to produce the described sensations.

ElectraStim Bi-Polar Electrosex Radial Dildo
Reviewed: 11 July 2014 by Curly Wurly, a Straight Going Steady Female
This dildo comes in a beautifully designed box, with opposing sides in black and white, which makes it feel very high quality as soon as you see it. It's quite a large box, about the same length as between my elbow and the heel of my hand, so it definitely won't fit through your post box, but the dildo itself is very small and dainty, only about the length of my hand (including the handle), and it is very slim in diameter.
It is mentioned in the main product description, I know, but you must have an ElectraStim power unit in order to run an electrical current through the dildo. I bought the 'ElectraStim EM60-E Flick Single Output Stimulator and ElectraPads Set' from Lovehoney, and I feel the power unit is significantly over-priced, but I have reviewed it on the specific product page.
(Another interesting point is that this is a BI-POLAR toy, meaning that you will need to use both plugs on the power unit. However if you get a UNI-POLAR toy, you will only need one plug. So you could essentially run two uni-polar toys from the same unit.)
This was my first ElectraStim product, so I have taken it very slowly when using it so far after a slightly disastrous over-eager first attempt.
When I used it the first time, I was in a very open and relaxed position on my back with my feet together, knees on the bed. So when the dildo was inserted and turned on, I felt nothing. Not even a scoobie. I tried more power, different patterns, nothing. I got a bit bored, so while the dildo was still inside me I brought myself to orgasm through external means and rolled over onto my side at which point I closed my legs and I experienced a very strong and, frankly, quite painful sensation from the dildo.
Slightly baffled as to what was going on, I later experimented with the dildo with my hand wrapped around the connections (which I should have done first...) and discovered that even a centimetre of uncovered connection was enough to receive no sensation. As soon as I closed the small gap with my hand, I began to feel the current.
So, when using the dildo I advise to have your legs in a more closed position to avoid unwanted surprises like I had. Also, keep the power rating below the half mark on your first couple of tries...
Once I mastered this I experimented with different positions, all with legs relatively close together, all of which have I have been able to feel the current.
I also experimented with how the dildo sits inside me. To begin with I used gentle thrusting as you would with a normal dildo, but I found that the lower metal connection would come into contact with the vaginal opening every so often which would all of a sudden send a surge of electricity, which I found very uncomfortable, and it would make me nervous for when the next one would come.
The best solution I found was to sit the dildo with the lower contact just a smidgen inside me, this way I could constantly feel the current and was never taken by surprise. This allowed me to enjoy the sensations and experiment with the huge range of pattern settings.
The sensation you get from the dildo is oddly pleasurable. I have only successfully used lower settings so far and the only thing I can compare it to is a gentle case of pins and needles. It actually feels very different from pins and needles, but I think that's the closest description I can get at the moment.
When in use, the dildo caused my pelvic floor/stomach muscles to contract, which my partner found very enjoyable to watch as it apparently looks the same as a strong orgasm. For me it didn't cause any orgasms but it caused the same kind of uncontrollable movements, which I presume would get stronger the higher up the scale you go.
My partner tried much higher settings than I dared to go on his hand with a pulsing setting, and his whole body would convulse. So if you like it stronger, this can definitely give it to you.
The medical grade plastic is rather nice. It makes it very easy to clean, and is lightweight and always warm to the touch, which contrasts nicely with the cold, hard steel contacts.
The cable from the base of the dildo is about 30cm long, which, when coupled with the cable from the power unit, is ample length for you to move around comfortably without being so long it gets in the way.
I will experiment with this more though and I may write another review as I become more accustomed to and skilled at delivering the sensations.
- The materials, the box and very unusual sensations.
- Manufacturer advice/instructions would have been useful.
- Bottom line
- A very intriguing toy, great for electrical experimentation.
