I would not say best, but certainly good

I bought this book after finishing my previous erotica books. I generally prefer shorter stories to longer story books, when it comes to erotica, as I can enjoy the book for longer and also so I can read one or two stories at time when I am in the mood. While I enjoy reading thematic short stories, like spanking or dominance, etc., at the same time I enjoy the diversity which books like this can offer.
The stories in the book are generally well written, offering you wide selection of erotic topics, so you never get bored. But I have to say that some stories did not get my attention much, while other got me captivated and I could not put the book down and definitely got me into the mood to play afterwards. The mixture of stories you do and don't like is usually the case with books from various authors and with diversity of topics; some just do not get you interested and also depends on how you click with the authors writing style and the story topic.
Just to hint what the themes in the stories are: visit to strip club, dominance and submission, spanking, sex with stranger.
Overall, I enjoyed reading the book, but I would not say it is the best erotica. I have read better, more captivating short stories collections, although this one is better than some other collections. Maybe just the price is bit too high for the length, considering you may not enjoy all stories.
- Selection of topics and writing styles.
- Not every topic and writing style will click with you.
- Bottom line
- Good selection of stories, various topics. But some stories may not hit your interest.

I love to close everything else down, forget all of the things I'm working on and dig into a story from this book.
Violet Blue seems to have found the formula - diverse and sexy stories with something for everyone. I found a few stories I really liked, including Rachel Kramer Bussel's 'Exposing Calvin' about a couple's trip to the strip club, 'Stop 'N Buy' about a foreigners adventures in Korea navigating the language barrier to her benefit, and 'Blush' by Mary Borsellino incorporating trans and queer sexualities, communication and safe sex practices. I would have liked to see more stories like that, but again this book has a range of stories and perspectives to offer.
I only wish you could tell a bit more about each story before digging in to read, because some of them did not really suit my interest. A key that calls out plot elements like safe sex or lack of, male or female dominant themes, etc. That would be ideal for my fast paced brain when I'm looking for something that I can really eat up.
- I liked the diverse stories and female protagonists.
- Some stories have stereotypically male fantasies which turned me off.
- Bottom line
- A mix of fantasies from different female author perspectives and protagonists.
