    1. 50 shades better than grey

Reviewed: 03 January 2013 by Faith987uk, a Straight Single Female

After the success of Fifty Shades of Grey there has been a flood of books bearing "If you like FSOG you'll LOVE this", most of which have been worth a read but not the most exciting books I've ever read. This book however is definitely one of the best ones I've read so far. And another major plus is that it is not part of a trilogy or series.

It starts with Genevieve trying to win a work contract for her company from James Sinclaire, at the end of the meeting James offers her a proposition. She assumes he wants sex in return for his business and says fine. He then explains he wants a little more than just sex.

He wants her for 90 days to do exactly as he says. If she can manage that she get his business, if not he will take his business elsewhere.

I must say my favourite scene was the motorbike with the unplanned guest who ended up with an eyeful lol.

The ending is slightly predictable but it is still worth a read and I would recommend to anyone who asks.

    1. Entertaining - passed a very boring train journey

Reviewed: 16 March 2014 by Mikethemanager, a Straight Married Male

It took a while to realise that this was written/published in 1996. The subject matter is still timely and is written from the woman's point of view.

My wife and I gained no new ideas from the storyline, but it follows a nice progression from vanilla to seriously kinked. We recommend a purchase.

The author shows a Lucinda Carrington but the copyright page mentions Lucinda Harrington. No doubt a pseudonym.

Sensible, plausibly written and a very descriptive style of writing. A lady could imagine this.
      Cons
The relationship (and Genevieve's development) climaxed quite quickly.
      Bottom line
Good value entertainment at a reasonable price.

    1. The original fifty

Reviewed: 16 October 2012 by rag doll, a Straight Going Steady Female

Full of Voyeurism, daring sexual escapades and varied sex scenes, Dominance and of course an attractive millionaire.

If you like your characters to be strong minded and adventurous and there to be just enough story line to keep you wondering then this book is for you.

The attractive and mysterious James Sinclair sets up a variety of complex fantasies to indulge, test and widen the sexual horizons of the ambitious Genevieve, all crammed into a neat ninety day contract. Did I say you were allowed to wear any knickers?

What is really great about this book is that not only does it give you the strict dominance of Genevieve by Sinclair but we also get to share in her fantasies of dominating him and of course, Sinclair’s wealth and contacts enable him to plot some of the most voyeuristic fantasies whilst lavishing her with expensive lingerie, clothes and Jewellery to complete the fantasies. The tale is laced with mystery but what makes it extra special is the fact that Sinclair is both an experienced and caring Dom.

If you are in to voyeurism, indulgence and Dominance, lots of teasing and mystery, a large amount of leather and costume leather and a touch of girl on girl naughty antics all tied together with a compelling storyline and great characters then this is the book for you.

Good read with a compelling story, good characters and lots of varied sex scenes.
