This arrived only a few days ago but I have certainly tested this out thoroughly...

This was in a lovely box that was dark and mysterious, really nice quality high gloss outer packaging then a dark box with the Fifty Shades of Grey branding which I will be keeping to store the items in.

The blindfold is thick and luxurious and soft against your skin. This means it stops you seeing anything and has a nice feel like its a quality product unlike some cheaper ones I've had in the past. The satin restraints are gorgeous they are long and silky so you have plenty of scope for changing things round, tie to bed, to each other, to other hands etc etc they are very versatile.

The paddle is good because it had two sides, one softer padded side to either warm up with or for those not keen on a harder leather surface. The other side is harder leather side for when you start to feel brave.

This is gorgeous and would make a lovely gift for someone I would be over the moon if I got this under my tree this xmas.

First time for bondage

Having never really explored bondage even to this extent, it was very exciting receiving the Fifty Shades package. The kit comes in an extremely professional, sturdy box, and like the rest of the toys, has its very own satin bag. I noticed firstly that the products were extremely well made and felt very luxurious with its satin, faux fur and leather. This kit also sticks with the same colour scheme as all the toys with the grey and black of the Fifty Shades books.

I was familiar with some aspects of bondage but had never explored it to this extent, even though I was sure I wanted to at some point. I expected the restraints and blindfold to be quite fun, and had a feeling I would like some use of the paddle. When we first used the kit, I treated Mr A to a full tie up, blindfold and paddle session, mainly using tease and oral sex. I definitely enjoyed being the dominating partner in this, and loved the control and the surprise element that the whole kit gave.

As the kit suggests, I tried the paddle out on my own skin to show myself what force I should use, and used it on Mr A carefully but confidently. I found the paddle aspect a little hilarious, which was fun, and I was sure that he found it sexy. The restraints were just the right length to tie him to the bed and seemed comfortable to wear. Me being in control was really enjoyable for both of us I think. The blindfold was useful in the element of surprise and seemed to heighten his senses to touch and sound and really made the experience really enjoyable.

When using this kit the other way around, I was very giggly and found it, overall, distracting. The restraints were comfortable, but due to my smaller size did pull, rather than feeling relaxed. The blindfold was comfortable on my face but soon my eyelashes irritated my eyes, as it was quite tight on my head. Mr A used a vibrator to tease and relax me, which did start to help, however, I couldn’t stop laughing when he used the paddle and although I found it sexy at times, I just couldn’t feel relaxed. There was a part of me that enjoyed being submissive but actually, I am definitely the one that likes to be in control. As it killed the mood a little this time, we decided to carry on without the kit.

Like Miss K I was a beginner at bondage. Like most couples I’ve bought handcuffs and blindfolds as joke presents, but that’s as far as I’ve gone. So when we found out we were going to be testing the Beginners Bondage Kit I was quite looking forward to playing with it and spanking Miss K around the arse with the paddle.

Yet again as we’re finding with the Fifty Shades of Grey range they’ve really made an effort to create products that are well made with luxurious materials and tasteful designs. The ties are really nice and silky to stop you from getting friction marks on your hands and feet. The mask is padded so it sit comfortably over the eyes. The paddle is double sided, one side is padded for softer spanking, the other being leather for if they’ve been extra naughty. To house all these quality products they provide a nice matte black box with the Fifty Shades of Grey logo pressed into it and a black satin bag.

The first time we used this kit I let Miss K wear the trousers… or at least be in charge of the paddle and restraints. We laughed and joked as she blindfolded me and tied me to our four poster bed. Then she went quiet, not being able to see anything was an unusual thing, I didn’t know what to expect or when the paddle was going to hit me… it was intense! Not being able to move and not knowing when it was going to happen was a new experience for me and I loved it. The paddle added to my anticipation, was I going to get a kiss on part of my body, a gentle stroke or a kinky slap with the paddle. When the paddle first hit it was a nice sensation, not too hard and not too soft (I’d obviously not annoyed Miss K that day), mixing the slapping in with kisses and soft touches made the whole thing extremely enjoyable and I could tell Miss K was having fun being in control.

It was only fair for me to return the favour and tie the lovely Miss K up and put her through the excitement she’d put me through. Miss K is a whole foot shorter than me so it was a bit difficult securing her to the posts of our bed, but our bed is stupidly big and I can’t see anyone else having the same issue. With the blindfold on I thought I’d bring a few extra toys out to add to her punishment. Using a vibrating massager and some lube I set to work using them along with the paddle. It was obvious 10 minutes in that Miss K doesn’t like not know what to expect or not being in control for that matter. Although it was fun and we had a laugh while I was playing with the paddle, the restraints and eye mask made her feel a bit uncomfortable to the stage that we gave up with the kit… although spanking Miss K was fun while it lasted, it spoilt the moment slightly seeing that she wasn’t enjoying it as much as I did!

This is a beginner's bondage kit which includes 4 satin wrist ties, a blindfold and a flogger, it can all be either kept in the box or it comes with a lovely satin bag to hold it all.

This product was made after the 50 shades of grey so if you have read the book and want to experience what you read, this product is great for you!

Pros:

Satin bag is really good quality.

Blindfold is lovely, it is padded and is comfortable to wear.

I love the box, although it's cardboard, it looks quite nice.

Restraints are a great length and a great colour.

Restraints are easy to use.

Can use the restraints how you please.

Flogger is really good, has padding and isn't harsh at all.

Cons:

One of my restraints was slightly damaged.

I found that I could see with the blindfold on, out the bottom.

Summary:

I really love this product and found it hard to find faults in it, the price is great and what you get is of top quality!

I highly recommend this product for anyone wanting to let your inner goddess wild, or to find out what Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele's experiences were like! You can also bring the book to life!
