    1. Product Description

Sophie Morgan is an independent women with a successful career in journalism. Underneath her perfectly 'average' exterior though, is a sexual submissive. In this expressive memoir she recounts her introduction to a dominant and submissive relationship, BDSM and kink.

Open-hearted and open-minded, this real-life story takes you on a journey of discovery and sexual development in intimate detail. Sophie's autobiography guides you through her experimentation as she shares with you every high, low and orgasm along the way.

Sophie Morgan's candid and no-holds-barred discussion of her mental and physical journey allows the reader to connect with her in a way that few books offer. Her matter-of-fact and unpretentious style are a refreshing change to the usual tone of voice found in bondage-themed books, making it a must-read for curious readers and lifestylers alike.

Passionate, erotic, titillating and emotionally frank, these memoirs have everything you would expect from a real-life story.

      Paperback. 314 pages.

"I had often wondered what a good hard spanking would feel like. But in a million years I would never have expected it to feel like this.

It was painful, obviously. A lot more than I was expecting - you can tell I'm of the generation that didn't get corporal punishment in school. The air whooshed from my lungs with each impact for the first few hits, and all I could think of was how much it hurt - definitely not the sexy paddling of my secret fantasies. In a panicked inner monologue I was trying to decide whether to put a stop to it proactively or just try and withstand it until he moved on when, suddenly, the sensation changed, blossomed almost. It still hurt, but the sting of my arse melted to a pleasurable ache in the seconds after the impact and, as the adrenaline pumped through me, suddenly even the pain of the initial hits was blurring with the warmth of the pleasure I was getting out of it."

    1. Read it

Reviewed: 11 April 2014 by KayT, a Straight Married Female

After reading 50 Shades, I wanted to read something that had more detail on the submissive side from someone who actually wanted to be one, unlike Anna.

I was completely blown away with Sophie's story. And loved that the book wasn't repetitive. There were many different elements to the D/s sex scenes.

    1. A gift, it went down well

As per usual, Lovehoney sent this out rather promptly and it arrived promptly within discreet plain packaging so Mr Postie wouldn't know what could be inside!

This was a random gift for the other half after she had mentioned she would like to read it, so it was even more appreciated that it came so quickly so I could wrap it and give it to her.

She was very surprised, and not just by the gift, she was surprised with what she read. She gave it a quick flick through and then began reading it. She is absolutely loving it.

I quote: "It's so much better than Fifty Shades of Grey as it isn't repetitive." / "It's opened up my mind so much."

She says that overall it is a fantastic read and she will probably read it over and over because she will never get bored with how amazing it is.

    1. Hot submission

Like many, I read 50 Shades of Gray thinking it'd be the bees knees, but like many, was rather disappointed. E.L James doesn't know much about the lifestyle!

Sophie Morgan on the other hand, definitely does. When I read this I just couldn't put it down. I lost a fair bit of sleep being totally sucked into this book!

Not only is the front cover photo stunning, but the way she writes and the fact she knows what's she is talking about all hypes this book up. Very, very pleased with my purchase.
