The Super Geisha Single Love Ball by Shots Toys arrived promptly from Lovehoney. The packaging of the product itself is completely free of any sexual imagery and when reading the text on the box it is apparent that the Geisha Single Love Ball is sold for pelvic training and takes a medical approach rather than an overtly sexual approach in how they represent the product with its packaging. The front, back and two sides of the packaging all feature helpful product information printed in no less than seven languages. Inside the box the Love Ball sits securely within sturdy clear plastic packaging.

First Impression:

Seeing the Geisha Single Love Ball in person for the first time, it is slightly smaller than I had expected it to be, measuring in at 1.4 inches in diameter. While this is actually the average diameter of Kegel balls, I had thought that maybe because this is a singular ball as opposed to the more far common dual Kegel balls that it would be thicker but if you already own an average set of dual Kegel balls at home this shouldn’t be larger than one of them.

The Geisha Single Love Ball is available in two colour options: pink or purple. I ordered the pink and in person it is a perfect match to the colour shown on the product page. The weight of the ball isn’t particularly heavy for a Kegel ball (32g as listed on site). Moving the ball around in your hand you can feel the inner ball moving around inside of it and making a rumbling sound.

In Use/Experience:

Inserting the Single Love Ball is quite comfortable with its small diameter. The pink (or purple) coating that is on the ball has a feeling of drag to it so despite its small size I would still recommend using a drop of water based lubricant for insertion. Once fully inserted the ball can barely be felt when you stay still. With movement the slight rumble of its inner ball can be felt and when you squeeze your Kegel muscles around the ball you can really feel them working. While the movement of the inner ball can be felt, it definitely cannot be heard when it is worn inside you. The 4.5 inch long retrieval cord sits outside the body and is so soft and flexible that unlike other Kegel balls out there with stiffer cords, the cord can be tucked inside your underwear and is something that you are not too aware of even with longer wear.

When removing the Single Love Ball, as with any other Kegel balls there is a resistance as your muscles grip onto the ball while you pull. With its generous length of retrieval cord it is easy to grip and pull on the strong cord. After wearing the ball for an hour or two you can feel the workout to your pelvic muscles. I find that the stimulation gained from penetration is increased and even clitoral orgasms are stronger right after use. While I can’t vouch as to whether this has real long term effects as I use other Kegel balls regularly too and can’t say which set would be giving results over others, I can vouch for the short term increase in tightness and sensation and can say that my orgasms are generally stronger in the few hours after using Kegel balls and for me the Super Geisha Single Love Ball has proven to be just as effective as dual Kegel balls.

A great option for those who are daunted by the thought of inserting dual Kegel balls or those who just want to change up their usual Kegel routine. While I can’t vouch for their long term effects yet, I have experienced both heightened sensation and stronger orgasms in the hours after use.

I already have a string of two balls, but find one pops out now and then, and the other seems to sit better, so thought I'd give just the one a go.

The single one is larger in diameter than my others, which worried me at first. However, I found that play with a vibrator prepares you for the ball and it slides in much easier. Also, some lube will help.

I originally started to use these balls to improve my muscles, to in turn improve a weak bladder but as yet have not seen much of an improvement. I will keep trying though!
