The first thing you will notice is the packaging - the outer sleeve is nice and crisp, and the inner storage box has those wacky, out-of-there designs similar to Tim Burton's new Alice movie. Slide off the outer sleeve and you are left with a box suitable for a gift - it opens from the right hand side like a book, which I think is very appropriate and a good storage idea. Your new toy's packaging is suitable for keeping and has a magnetic shut lock so your box won't spring open unexpectedly, even if tipped upside down. Your Kinky Kat nestles inside, purring contentedly and securely.

Inside you will find your new pet and an introductory paragraph to using your new Kinky Kat. He takes one AA battery and features a securely lockable bottom to avoid any fluids getting into his inner workings. Completely waterproof, this kitty isn't afraid of puddles or even a hot soapy bubble bath. The easy to use one-touch button on the base of your kitty is difficult to accidentally press but easy to locate when in the throes of passion. The way the button lights up red when in use adds a cool tech-like feel to it. You can scroll through the ten different patterns and variations by pressing the button and then hold it down for a few seconds to turn off your vibrator.

Cheshire is very cleverly designed and luxurious to the touch, with a smooth 'handle', lovely designed swirls along the shaft and a kitty-kat head with a wide, grinning mouth. The ears are a little too pointy to be used for clitoral stimulation without lube so make sure you use some good quality water-based lube such as Liquid Silk. A tiny amount will do. The nose feels great against your clitoris too and the swirls are nice for massage or simply running along the body, in places such as the feet and backs of your knees. The quirky design really does make this a great collectable for Alice fans (such as myself!) and would be great to team with an Alice in Wonderland costume or roleplay.

It isn't the quietest vibrator but won't alert anyone to suspicion if you're playing under the covers in your own room with the door shut. The power is really amazing for just one AA battery but I can't help wishing it was rechargeable. I guess this is because I'm a rechargeable junkie now so it depends on personal preference - I'm sure most people won't mind raiding their remote controls for a battery, which isn't included. It might be more appealing if the Kinky Kat came with a small space in his box to keep a battery with him at all times, because this week I have reached for him more times than any other vibe.

It would be perfect for a gift. I'm sure the others in the range are just as good and more suited to g-spot stimulation - something I'm not really keen on when using this vibrator due to the strange shape of the head. However, the unique design, funky packaging and outstanding power makes this a pretty powerful and cute vibe, one for the alternative girl's drawer. Go and get one!

Great for clitoral stimulation but uncomfortable for G-spot

I was planning on buying a new vibe, so was very happy when I received this vibrator as a free review product! The packaging of this product is fantastic and really shows that it is a high-quality product. There is a luxurious slip on cover to the box, which defines the vibe as a ‘pleasure product’, rather than a vibrator, which I think adds a nice classy touch. The slip cover has a big picture of the vibe that is true to size, so you know exactly what to expect once you open the box. The actual box is designed like a classic ‘Alice in Wonderland’ book, with a pretty and simple ‘W’ on the cover and the word ‘Wonderland’ underneath. This box would be great as a gift or on a bookshelf, as nobody would know at first glance that such a naughty product was inside!

The appearance of this vibe is humorous and feminine! You can tell straight away that it is intended to look like the Cheshire cat. The silicone is a bright pink colour and is extremely soft, although users must remember to only use water-based lube with this product! However, when I used lube with this vibe, I found that the lube dried up very quickly (much quicker than with non-silicone vibes).

The body of this vibe consists of raised swirled ridges, which look great and are fantastic for massaging large areas of the body. The ears on top of the vibe look great, but I found they were a bit too pointy for direct use on the clitoris and I would not recommend them for internal G-spot stimulation. However, I think I am quite ‘tight’ down below and inexperienced with non-rounded vibes, so this vibe might be better suited for internal stimulation on a woman who is more experienced with a wider range of toys.

The heart-shaped nose of the Kinky Kat is raised, which is fantastic for pinpointing vibrations to the clitoris. The vibrations are very powerful for just one AA battery, and the range of 10 functions is great for a variety, although I prefer to use the constant speeds rather than the patterns. The battery compartment is a twist base that is fully waterproof so is great for use in the bath, where there is no need for lubricant!

This little kitty really surprised me. I honestly wasn't expecting much from this pocket vibe. I simply loved him just as a themed toy but I was pleasurably surprised.

The silicone button is easy to press on and off and is firm and well defined. You simply press once and then scroll through the amazing 10 vibrations and patterns, then press and hold to turn off at anytime. It then will start from where you left off at your favourite setting. I love this in a toy.

Use:

The excellent quality motor is located in the head perfect for pinpoint stimulation using his nose or ears and the vibrations travel down the shaft well. I found some of the vibes quite high frequency but he has some deeper lower frequency functions too. A great range to suit most people. As I said before, he really surprised me as one of the pulses got me there in under a minute. He isn't as rumbly as some of my larger vibes, but they have designed the motor to offer a brilliant variety of pulses and escalations for everyone.

I loved the fact he has a silky firm silicone body which is not too squeezy or bendy so I was able to apply quite a bit of pressure to my clit when I wanted to. The silicone warms quickly to your body and I can grip him between my lips giving perfect access to the button to change pattern. I prefer his nose against my clit as well as I enjoy feeling his ribbed body against me, enabling me to massage. He is perfect for pinpoint stimulation all over the body and I personally loved him against my nipples, getting me purring in minutes. I needed little lube as he was so silky smooth and not grippy at all unlike some silicone toys I have already. He is not made for anal play. This is not the Wonderland he was designed for but you can easily stimulate the area. The ears maybe too sharp for some for anal play.

Conclusion:

The Cheshire cat is a legend from our childhoods and I was in love with my Kinky Kat before I even turned him on. I'm so looking forward to collecting the others in this adorable set. The material quality is excellent and the silicone is so silky smooth and isn't grippy and doesn't attract hair like a lot of my other silicone toys. The motor is powerful but running on just 1 AA battery I found the power doesn't last too long... but hey it's just 1 battery, you can't complain. There is a perfect variety of discreet 10 functions and vibrations in this fun whimsical toy. The box he comes in makes a great gift for anyone.

I fell in love with Kinky because I love cats and I love Alice in Wonderland and all the fantasy, plus the fact he is so very different to any pocket vibe I have.
