I have had quite few remote toys from the Oyster through to this new one, and to be honest all have disappointed! The Oyster was the most reliable but fiddly and you could not get it to stay in place. Others started well, lots of power, but lost signal or just didn't work full stop once in place despite a quick test before use.

So that's the history done, now on to this!

Delivery was amazing as always with Lovehoney. Ordered at just after 3pm, delivered before 9am the next day! Not much else you can say about that really!

It sat in a box on my desk all day waiting. Everyone else left and went home so out it came. First thoughts were wow! I hope this works as good as it looks! From reading the the reviews, the love egg and the but plug are the same, just the addition of the rubber sleeve, so I went for the butt plug version just in case my girlfriend decided she want to try it. But thats for future use (maybe, but not my thing).

I had a very quick look around the new toy and I was quite impressed by the packaging, not too tacky. But the main thing was the size of the butt plug. Once the egg was inside the rubber sleeve it was quite large, to be honest, to me as someone that is not really into butt plugs it seemed eye-wateringly large!

Packed it all away ready to play! I hadn't told my OH about it so it was a surprise when I pulled out the box of new toys. We sat on the bed and played with them for a while, she seemed pleased with the selection.

First off we could not get the egg to work, till finally I found in her excitement one of the batteries in the egg was the wrong way round, so off we went!

First impressions, it seems quite powerful (seemed).

By the time we (I) got to insert the egg we didn't need any lube :) And away we went, signal seemed good and the remote changed patterns with ease, scrolling through the selection with no problems.

We played for quite a while, nearly an hour with no loss of signal or power. The noise level was very low once inserted, you struggled to hear it just a faint hum if you really tried, which is great!

But in the end it just wasn't powerful enough, If they make a mk2 with a much better motor in I would recommend it but at the moment this should be just for fun or as a prelude the the main event as it were.

As for the butt plug side of things, we'll have to see about that in the future, and if my OH does try it I'll let you know!
