I'm a massive fan of pin up style and retro underwear so I'm always in need of a decent pair of stockings.

Look no further girls! For the price they are just the best quality and the seam is pretty damn good.

This is my 3rd pair (girl needs backups!) as they're in the affordable range and I just love love love them!

Ordered on the Saturday and arrived the Monday, the usual speedy service from Lovehoney.

The packaging was in line with the retro feel.

The stockings themselves were such high quality and felt so silky.

I am a size 16 and have ample thighs and had these recommended over the plus size stockings. I have to say I am very impressed, I got the biggest size, which was medium large (I normally buy large to extra large ) and they went straight on, no bulging at the top of the leg and looked perfect. I felt sexy and slim and can't wait to show my other half.

I will buy these again and have already recommended them to friends. Such a high quality product and great price as well.

Lovehoney recently sent me a pair of these lovely nude, seamed stockings to review as a product tester. Thanks to the warmer weather this week, I've been able to take them out for a test run in a couple of my summer dresses. I absolutely love them, and will definitely be adding more to my collection soon.

Top marks for packaging; the packet they arrived in was minimal and recyclable, featuring attractive retro-style fashion sketches, some information about the manufacturer, and a sizing guide.

Despite my being slightly smaller than the sizing guide recommends, I found these stockings were still a very comfortable fit - no unsightly sagging around the ankles or slippage, provided they're worn with a proper suspender belt or girdle. I'd recommend choosing the medium/large size if you're over 5'5” tall, as although they have a fair bit of stretch, this style of stocking looks far more attractive when worn higher up on the thighs.

I don't often wear nude stockings, as I find they tend to contrast badly with my ghostly complexion, but these are just right for me - pale enough to pass at a glance as my real skintone, but with a sexy seam at the back that makes no secret that it's actually a stocking. I'd describe them as a sort of champagne colour, with a matte finish.

The stockings have a reinforced area around the toes and under the soles of the feet, and a seam running all the way up the back of each stocking from the heel to just below the welt; these are only mock seams, but they are significantly cheaper than a pair of What Katie Did's authentic fully-fashioned stockings while still looking the part. The simple, no-frills welt design makes these stockings perfect for wearing under tight-fitting skirts or dresses - though they're a bit on the plain side compared to fancier styles of lingerie, they provide a smooth silhouette when worn as an undergarment. They can be a little tricky to put on at first if you're not used to wearing seamed stockings, but once you get the seam lined up properly, they look gorgeous.

I highly recommend buying a pair in both colours, especially if you're a fan of 1940s-style lingerie.
