Curves that kick

The first thing I noticed about this vibrator was the size. I'm a bullet girl myself, and am used to thinking that clitoral vibrators are about the size of a lipstick. The size at first seemed like it would take some time getting used to. But with a toy this pretty, I was happy to dedicate myself to getting to know it.

Firstly, it's a lovely colour. I'm quite happy with the way that it matches the rest of my collection! Purple is, I think, the best colour for sex toys; it connotes luxury, it isn't too feminine nor too masculine, it's calm and non-threatening, and yet it's also pretty damn sexy. The feel, too, is soft and luxurious; perhaps more so the curve than the hard plastic ridges on the end, but that isn't really the most important end.

It came with a little attachment that looks just like a phone charm... it makes the toy look very cute, but the fact that it just comes in the box as a little extra means that if you don't want a bit of rubber dangling off the end of your vibe, you don't have to!

The toy doesn't come with batteries, but I'd already made sure to buy some. Taking the end off and inserting the batteries was easy. Closing it again was not so easy. I must have tried at least five times, feeling increasingly confused, to force the thing closed. Eventually, I succeeded. But seriously, if you think that, like me, you might find yourself baffled by a twisting piece of plastic, I urge you to put in the batteries in advance rather than waiting until you desperately need the toy in your hand. It could be very frustrating. At least the fiddly thing, once closed, stays perfectly secure.

Having already managed to baffle myself with the batteries, I then proceeded to get lost in the speeds and modes. It's very easy to operate (in theory)... there's a plus and minus sign to ramp up or cool down the speed... and they're good, too. I found myself thinking "oh, this must be the top speed, it can't get any more intense than this" at least twice. And then discovered that, oh, yes, it does go faster. And the modes, too. I'm not really a massive fan of different pulses, but they do give you a fair few for your money. Some that even I, fussy as I am, might find myself persuaded by. It's going to be fun to go through every possible combination, anyway.

An issue with the buttons was that you have to hold them down to get the next speed or mode. Which is good because it means you're less likely to accidentally catch a button and end up turning it off (or up more than you want to) when you're in the middle of something, but isn't the easiest thing to operate when you want to change it up, and quickly.

I'm a big fan of power. So the fact that I was using this on what wasn't even the highest setting means that... this baby's got bite. True, I'm not convinced it beats a bullet, but... I soon realised that, on top of the power, it has some properly seductive curves which bullets just do not. Curves that fit pretty damn well. Also, despite the fact that it's labelled the "Outie" and intended for your clit... well, it doesn't just have to be used on the outside, if you get my drift. And there's a fair few inches of thick, curved length to it. Vibrating. A lot.

This toy is a lovely little addition to any collection whether intended just for you-time or to share with a partner, and it's a toy that feels great in your hand as well as between your legs.
