A Technology Wonder but a Novelty

First of all we have to say the Mojowijo is a piece of fantastic technology trickery that somehow magically works with the Wii remotes. There are two units, one for him and one for her. The male unit is covered in black silicone with a ring at the end which fits around the penis. The female product is pink with a curved end for g-spot stimulation.

Before anyone purchases this product it's extremely important that they have the following already as without them they will be let down...

* 2 Nintendo Wii Controllers

* PC's with Windows 7 (2 if using skype)

* Bluetooth Adapter (2 if using skype)

* Fast Internet Connection (2 if using skype)

* Skype Accounts

We were very surprised that this product requires Windows 7 and will not work on XP or Vista. This is a shame as that Windows 7 is still quite new and many people are still on the other operating systems. Another thing surprised us is not that the product requires a bluetooth adaptor for couples play but that one is not included as standard.

Connecting the Mojowijo to the Wii controller is very simple and slots in securely. When you connect all the pieces together however the MojoWijo becomes extremely long. The male product looks strangely like a cattle prod when fully connected. This length does make use cumbersome and awkward either for the person using it on themselves and for the person controlling.

Functions And Controls

To get going you need to install some software from the internet to allow communication between the toys. Once installed syncing the toys and using the software is extremely simple.

Once all set controlling the vibrations between the toys is done by shaking, wobbling or rocking the 2nd Mojowijo. The vibrations increase in strength depending on how much you move the controller. To get full power you do need to move it quite a lot and the vibration strength once depletes very quickly when you slow down.

The software on the PC picks up the movements quite well but have found you do need to be at least within a couple of meters of the PC to accurately pick up movements. Note: This could be down to our cheap bluetooth adaptor we aren't 100% sure.

You can use the Mojowijo's over Skype or use them in the same room as each other. Using the toys in the same room is a bit comical as you see your partner frantically wobbling this long stick which isn't really erotic.

We had hoped we could use the toys at the same time and both get vibrations from the movements we make when using the toy. Unfortunately this hasn't worked as the movements required to get the other controller to vibrate are too severe.

The male and female Mojowijo products can also be used solo as you can attach the included dial controller at the base of the product. They are easy to control but feel the main feature for these products are the remote control functionality and doubt this solo feature would be used much.

The vibration strength of this sex toy is below average. We hoped it would've been more powerful as each unit requires 2 AA and AAA batteries to operate remotely. The units are moderately quiet however and cannot be heard behind a closed door.

As we don't have Skype and 2 Windows 7 PCs we couldn't test the ability to use these toys over the internet.

Steve's Male Unit Experience

The male unit is interesting and unlike most male sex toys. The cattleprod end wraps around the penis and has a good amount of flex to accommodate most sizes. I haven't had much luck using the male unit mainly due to the sheer length of the toy.

The length makes it very cumbersome to use and getting it into position is difficult and not sexual. The male end wraps around my penis quite well but as it covers a small section of the penis and with lacklustre vibrations it doesn't feel particulary orgasm inducing.

I would've hoped placing like around the frenulum area of my penis would've been enough but unfortunately not.

Rox's Female Unit Experience

I had much more luck with the female unit. The curve of the toy finds my G-Spot with accuracy. The soft material of the toy makes insertion and thrusting comfortable and quite pleasurable.

The length of the female unit is a bit more workable than the male one but it still feels far too long and heavily detracts from the experience. The vibrations of the Mojowijo aren't enough for me as I need much more umph!

Seeing Steve wobbling and shaking the controller doesn't help me get into the mood and I end up laughing.

Overall Opinion

For us the Mojowijo sex toy feels much like a novelty toy than a sex toy. Seeing each other wobble, shake and rock the other large controller whilst trying to orgasm isn't what we ideally want to see.

We do think the Mojowijo could be good for couples who spend time apart. The long length, lacklustre vibrations and not a great male unit will still be an obstacle though and likely be thrown in a drawer to be forgotten about.
