I was really excited when the Betty eX range arrived at Lovehoney. They've created an amazing range of pin-up inspired lingerie in PVC that made my latex-dedicated eye wander.

This girdle is styled on the cinching girdles worn throughout the 1900s to smooth curves and cinch the waist. It has the same ovular tummy panel and is wonderfully detailed with a large stitched X across the front, adding some great detail.

You can't really see the detail of this girdle very well in the product photos because the shot is taken side on and the shiny black PVC finish obscures it. It looks much sexier when it's in your hands or on your body.

I'm currently wearing a UK size 10 (27-inch waist/36-inch hip) and I found the size Small to be a tight but comfortable fit as the 'liquid vinyl' (a less stiff form of PVC that has more stretch without compromising the structural integrity of the finish) happily accommodated my hips and waist without creasing up or feeling baggy.

The 6 suspender straps are well sewn in and are on the larger side, offering awesome grip. I prefer 6 straps over 4 as they're much more effective at holding seamed stockings straight and this girdle definitely did the trick.

I think there's a definite market for luxury PVC if it's all done as well as this. Latex is so hard to take care of, has a shine that needs constant maintenance, is much more expensive and is much more prone to damage. Betty eX have done well with this range and I'll be after the matching bullet bra.
