Pretty but not for outerwear

I received this to test - the reason I applied for it is that I have severe backache and can't wear the waistband of normal tights. It looked very pretty when I got it out of the packet, with delicate straps, and I was hopeful of being able to stick a skirt on top and wear it out.
It was very easy to put on - the bodysuit bit is stretchy, so it's just as easy as a normal pair of tights. It has very pretty scalloped edges to the legs of the bodysuit, and the top of it is straight across the bust, so it covers the top of your bra. It is not too sheer, so you could wear it with a thin-strapped bra underneath and it would be decent, but it's sheer enough to see through it you don't wear a bra.
What really let it down though, and dashed my hopes of wearing it out with a skirt, is that it has seams back and front of the bodysuit, which protrude over the top, and make it look like a pair of tights which you've stretched up over your bust!
Fine as a sexy piece for when you take your outer clothes off, but not for wearing outside the bedroom.
