    1. Bedtime reading with a supernatural twist

Reviewed: 30 July 2012 by DraeneiShaman, a Straight Going Steady Female

I love the supernatural, two of my favourite authors being Kelly Armstrong and Kresley Cole.

This book is great, filled with 15 varied stories covering all kinds of myths, species and aspects of sex and romance.

From the standard vampires and werewolves to ghosts and even golems! These stories are all well written and explore the past and modern day.

The erotica does what it should and turns me on whilst keeping me interested in the writing.

It's nice to have some short stories to keep next to the bed to read when you can't sleep and this one makes a great addition!

    1. Decadent and Desirable

Reviewed: 07 May 2012 by Renesme, a Straight Going Steady Female

Okay, I admit it. I judged a book by its cover. And who wouldn't in this case? The title and cover photo were enough to draw me in. Being a lover of supernatural tales, I was also intrigued by the possibilities this collection presented.

My personal favourites were A Rose in the Willow Garden (inspired by Nick Cave and Kylie Minogue's gothic duets), The Blood Moon Kiss (possibly inspired by the HBO series True Blood), and The Queen. Anyone else sensing a heavy vampire bias here? ;)

There are plenty of other genres explored in this collection apart from vampires, and stories are both historical and present day, sometimes interwoven. The style and pace of the writing varies between authors but each story has much to offer.

A worthy addition to your erotic book collection which can be dipped in and out of whenever the mood arises.
