After acquiring a set of stunning PVC lingerie I felt I needed a few extras to complete the look, gloves being one of them. I tend to have problems when buying gloves, due to having small hands and wrists, but I thought I’d be able to get away with these, as they are available in a selection of sizes and have a stretchy elasticised panel ensuring that they appear skin tight, while still being comfortable to wear.

The Black Level PVC gloves arrive in a plastic box with a cardboard insert showing the product on a model. The gloves look perfect on the model, being more or less skin tight in appearance, with only slight crumpling. There’s a bit of information saying when storing the gloves to store them away from other fabrics, as this may cause discolouration. It says you can hand wash the gloves.

I received the gloves in a size small. I’m normally a size XS or S in gloves with 5.25 inches in circumference around my wrist and 8.25 inches around my bicep. The top of the glove are 9.5 inches in circumference, and they are 7 inches around the wrist. The elasticised panel can be stretched to add around an extra inch. Sadly this meant that the gloves weren’t skin-tight on me, despite being the smallest size available. However, they shouldn’t be too difficult for me to alter, as I can make the elasticised panel smaller.

The length of the gloves was just right for me, sitting just above my elbow. The fingers were the right length too; however, they looked a bit square and misshapen. I believe this is because of the way they are sewn together.

Overall, I think these gloves are good for the price; they just didn’t work for me. I understand that I have rather slender arms and hands, but I was really hoping that they would fit a lot better than they did, as they had the elasticised panel. On the first wear I prefer gloves to be a little tight, or an almost perfect fit, as they tend to stretch over time. If you match the measurements for the wrists and upper arm, I think you would get the skin-tight appearance seen in the product image.
