I love PVC so was delighted when Lovehoney sent me this set to review. I'm usually extremely cautious about buying things like this as it's often extremely hit and miss whether any of it is going to fit you.

I was sent the XL, which I thought would be on the verge of being too small. In this case I was pleasantly surprised.

I tried the suspender belt on first and it fit me perfectly, sitting just above the hips as shown on the picture here (which is also the same one that is on the packaging - not tacky as some things but maybe a bit 'in your face'). And I road tested it today at a burlesque class and it withstood a chair routine and kept my stockings up. Very pleased with it.

I never thought the bra would work on me as I thought the underwires would be too tight for my pretty ample boobs (I'm a 34GG/H, see why I doubted it!), especially when it says in the description the cups are more suitable for a B/C cup. Well, I got them in! Trouble was, the back band was far too slack and stretchy to give any support. My underbust measurement is 34", which is pretty average. I tried adjusting the back band by two inches and this still made no difference so this would probably fit someone with a 38" underbust. So the sizing is seriously hit or miss with the separate parts. I could probably have done with a L or even and M in the bra (but then the cups might have been too narrow? I dunno).

The G-string was quite a surprise and actually usable compared to the ones that usually come with these sets. The 'triangle' is pretty tiny but actually works on me and the 'straps' are made of thick (about 1cm wide) elastic which I prefer to ones that give that wonderful 'cheese wire' effect on one's hips.

Overall, I really like the set. The suspender belt is awesome, I'll probably use the G-string to 'complete the look' next time I'm with the OH but there was no saving the bra despite my sewing efforts. It would definitely suit a smaller bust, I'd say DD cup max.

I have no qualms with the build quality of any of it although when not on it does look kind of like bits of bin liner, it looks 10 times better when on you, so don't be put off by initial appearance.
