I'm in love with my Rock Box it absolutely rocked my world. These attachments are perfectly shaped for both man and woman. The motor power of the 5000rpm is amazing to have in a sex toy.

The Rock Box is so far away from being a vibrator, I would say it's a portable sex machine. Vibrator gives images of 5-7 inch long penisshaped vibes. The Rock Box is very much like your other half's power sander tool. It's black with a soft rubberised skin with a curved handle with the on/off button on the underside, on the top of the handle you have a scroll wheel which clicks through 6 variable speeds.

Description:

The top of the Rock Box has a vibrating plate which you can alternate between the 2 easily exchangeable TPR skin safe attachments: the gorgeous pastel pink Hot chick, shaped like a tongue which is firm but squeezable, and the 10cm long black Master blaster, which has 3 ripples that can grip the penis. This plate then vibrates at your chosen speed so you will be fighting over who is going to use this first.

At the back of the Rock Box is a kettle cable plug which has approximately "6 metres of cable", wow yes I did say 6 metres; it's the longest cable I have with any electrical product, meaning you can really use this machine almost anywhere.

The Hot Chick attachment:

The pink silicone tongue sits comfortably in the right place. The tongue sits at the entrance to the vagina and is perfectly contoured for us girlies. It's smooth tapered tongue is shaped to fit our curves and is insertable if you wish approximately 1/2 -1cm centimetre as it gently rocks into the vagina. I know it doesn't sound a lot but believe me it's all you need at the speeds this toy goes. The shape presses against your clit and inner labia too so you feel the vibrations through your whole pelvis, seriously! The vibration and power behind this machine is something I have never felt in any toy I have ever owned in 25 years.

The instruction booklet suggests you try it first over clothes to get used to the feel and power. I placed the Rock Box and Hot Chick over my leggings to start with and wow, within a few minutes I had the an intense orgasm, and that's OVER clothes and when I looked I was only on number 3... jeeze.

Once naked it comes into its own using a water-based lube. My orgasms are incredible and I can only make it to 4. It gives me fast intense rumbly, rocking orgasms - a fantastic feeling as it rocks backwards and forwards against you.

If you read my reviews you know I'm a huge one for power. Have I met my match? Yes I think I may have but I haven't been beaten yet. I'm working my way to 6 as I keep trying it. This toy is for those of you that think you can handle power!

The whole Rock Box is quite heavy, but I actually love the weight as it sits securely between your legs leaving you just with the speed dial to worry about.

The Masterblaster Attachment:

This black silicone attachment is firm and soft with 3 ribs to give more stimulation to the penis. For the guys you simply press the Rock Box against the underside of the penis against the body. Again, in the first instance over clothes or towel till you think you can handle the intense vibrations.

To start with hold the Rock Box between your thighs then angle it towards you pressing the penis against the stomach using the weight of the Rock Box to press down. Unlike us girl's the man will have to support it by the handle or lie back. It is designed to throb against the underside of the penis stimulating the F-spot or frenulum. No other male sex toy does this.

My OH found it was best on speeds 3-4 as it has more rumble movement. On 5-6 it boosts the power to a deep vibration. It's finding the right position and vibration setting for you.

For men something to be aware of is the attachment of the Masterblaster. As the guys holds it firmly against them, the hard plastic prongs can rub against you in some positions. My advice is place something soft like a tissue or piece of cloth where this will rest.

We both found starting slowly and working up gives me the most intense orgasms, don't be tempted to jump to 5 or 6. Sometimes it's the journey of the holiday that's great as well as reaching your destination.

Cleaning:

Both attachments slide off and can be held under hot running soapy water to clean them. Then spray with your sex toy cleaner and store away. Remember NEVER use the Rock Box anywhere that is near water, you are dealing with a 240 volt machine after all. Should you get any marks on the Rock Box itself simply wipe with a cloth.

Conclusion:

The Rock Box is for those that adore power and can never find a vibe strong enough for them. The soft velvety texture gives it its gorgeous luxury expensive feel.

This is not a beginners toy because of the intensity this toy has. If you are after discreet get a bullet, but if you want something that will last for years it is well made, never tires and you can share as a couple this is the machine for you.

It is awkwardly large to grab when just wanting a quickie, and definitely too noisy with others in the home or thin walls. But a machine this powerful, it's well worth it. Any motor which has to have its own air holes to prevent overheating is going to knock your socks off!

I adore the tough, hardcore look and sexy rawness of it, the dark exterior and the power it exudes. It's my kind of man... What a tongue... such a turn-on! Finally I have my own power tool that my OH will want to borrow from me.

Is it worth the £99? Absolutely. You really are getting value in just the weight alone let alone the amazing power and control at the touch of a button. If you buy one luxury toy this year make it this one. You have 2 toys in 1 - what more can you ask.

Afterthought: I would love Lovehoney to design a more insertable vibrator adaptor - a dildo-like shape for us girls, maybe even a G-spot bend. And also an anal men's version for their P-spot. The plans could be endless for this.

Rocking with the Rock Box

The Rock Box looks unlike any other sex toy we have tried before. The Rock Box looks slightly similar to a mini handheld vacuum cleaner with its large size, big handle and air vent on the side. It it less of a sex toy and more machine.

The Rock Box is a heavyweight when it comes to sex toys weighing in at monstrous 900 grams (nearly 2lbs). Thankfully the very large handle on the Rock Box makes this weight seem much less when holding. We have found prolonged periods of use can lead to a bit of wrist ache though.

Controlling the Rock Box is extremely simple with an on/off switch which sits underneath the handle. This switch is easy to access whilst holding the toy and once pressed you can let go of it and the vibrations will continue. It's slightly difficult to press the switch down as it's a bit stiff. This stiffness does help stop accidental switch-offs however as the switch is on the handle.

On the handle there's a control wheel to change the vibration speeds. There are 6 speeds to choose from, setting 1 being the lowest speed which is quite mild but we would have liked it a bit milder. Setting 6 which is the highest setting which is earthshaking and we have yet to handle this setting as it's that powerful. This control wheel is quite small and can be difficult to find and operate when the Rock Box is shaking.

Near the handle is a kettle lead input which is a first for sex toys we have tested. The kettle lead is extremely long which is a big plus especially for couples use and for homes without many electrical inputs. This length also allows comfortable positioning of the toy without having a large wire trail over your body.

Two attachments come with the rock box which allow the toy to be used for men and women. We really enjoy toys that can be used for both sexes as it makes it seem more value for money as we both get something out of it. For him there's a black ridged attachment made of rubber which sits under the penis. This stimulates the frenulum which is the most sensitive part of the penis (guys you know what I'm on about).

The male attachment is quite interesting and took us a moment to figure out exactly how it's used. This was mainly because the manual was a little light on the exact method. We would have liked to see some diagrams which would've helped. Once we figured it out which was sandwiching Steve's penis with the Rock Box and his body using it was simple. We did try lying the Steve's penis flat on the attachment but the vibrations made his penis wobble around taking away most of the sensations.

For her there's an attachment also made of rubber which looks like a tongue that curves round from the clitoris to the opening of the vagina. This attachment was easier to understand and even over clothing the Rock Box made Rox gasp. Both attachments slide on and off the rock box very easily.

The Rock Box is very noisy especially on the higher settings as you can probably imagine by the size, weight and the stated 5,000 RPM of the toy. It doesn't sound like a sex toy at least so neighbours wouldn't twig on. It sounds more like a power tool if anything.

Where the attachments clip onto the Rock Box there are quite large gaps leading to the products internals which do concern us. The gap would allow certain fluids to get into the main unit leading to a cum-meets-electrics disaster. This especially concerns us as this is a mains powered unit.

Packaging

The Rock Box comes in a sturdy cardboard box which at first glance you wouldn't realise there is a sex toy inside. The back of the box has a picture of the product along with what is inside the box.

As mentioned earlier the manual is a bit light on diagrams which would have been very helpful for using it on males.

Care And Cleaning

Cleaning the Rock Box is easy as you just slide the adapter off after use and clean it with warm water or sex toy cleaner. You should never get the main unit wet however so to clean you just wipe it with a cloth. It surprises us that we cannot get a sex toy remotely wet (especially a male toy) as fluids would obviously land on the unit at some point.

It is important that the attachments are completely dry before you connect them to the machine also.

Steve's Experience

Once I understood how to use the Rock Box (sandwiching my penis between my body and the Rock Box) using the toy was astounding. The lowest setting is powerful yet teasing and using this setting to warm up is great. Moving between each setting the Rock Box the vibrations increase gradually yet powerfully. Once on setting 4 the vibrations are enough to make me orgasm very quickly if I let it (even over clothes).

Setting 5 and 6 I have yet to venture much into as they are far to powerful for me. I'm sure once I get used to the Rock Box's kick, setting 5 and 6 will be regulars. The orgasms I get with the Rock Box are powerful and do take my breath away.

The weight and size of the Rock Box does make usage a little cumbersome but it's still thrilling. The issue of the gaps in the unit and not even being splash-proof does raise concerns about an electrical hazard but that could be me being overly safety conscious.

I've found slowly graduating up the settings and not rushing to setting 4 creates the best orgasms. I don't think I could take setting 4 straightaway anyway as it's very strong. I'm not sure of the power consumption of this beast but no doubt it would be around 500 watts.

Rox's Experience

I took the advice in the instruction manual and used the Rock Box on the lowest setting over my clothing the first time to get a feel of how strong the vibrations are. I was instantly impressed my the vibrations as they made their way through my clothes and stimulated me even on low.

The unit is a little heavy and large which after a while has caused me a few aches, but I guess the unit needs to be this large to be this powerful. The extremely long power cable helps me get into position, I like how I don't have to have wires trailing over my body thanks to this.

Once I get comfortable with the vibrations getting naked with the Rock Box is quite an experience. The Rock Box is extremely powerful and stimulates my clit with power and accuracy making me orgasm easily. Using the control panel is a little awkward once the unit is turned on as it can be a little difficult to locate and turn.

As with Steve I found gradually working up the settings and taking it slow made my orgasms much more powerful. Settings 3 and 4 are my golden settings at the moment and haven't failed yet. Settings 5 and 6 are far to powerful for me and I'm a vibration whore which just goes to show the Rock Box's 5,000 RPM motor really performs (though noisy).

Overall Opinion

We would definitely recommend the Rock Box especially for people who like strong vibrations. The ability to use the toy for both males and females makes the Rock Box better value for money also. The negatives of this product of being noisy, big, awkward setting dial and being heavy fade into the distance once we get going with Rock Box. We do have issues with the electrical safety of the product but we just try to be extra careful when using.

The Rock Box is a vibrating powerhouse and has become an instant hit with us and we will both enjoy using it regularly in the future. Thank you to Lovehoney for sending us one to test and review.

Rock Box Review

The Rock Box reminded me of my hedge trimmer tool - without the cutting blades attached!

It is not only the most powerful vibrator toy I know of but also likely has a loudness unbeaten by any other.

As no female volunteer has yet appraised the use of my Rock Box from her perspective I will comment from the male perspective. It is fun to use with either of the two attachments supplied, perhaps feeling most stimulating when applied over tight denim jeans that transmit pleasant tingling vibrations around thighs, buttocks and other close parts of the anatomy.

I like to use my 'Rock Box' as a delicious alternative to a 'Magic Wand' type vibrator - that will be a subject for another review.
