This is the second bodystocking I've purchased (the first one, not from Lovehoney, didn't fit). Knowing that Lovehoney's return policy was such that I could return this one if it didn't fit, I went ahead and tried again!

The material used for these tights is probably about 40 denier, maybe 50, and it will therefore be less prone to laddering than some cheaper materials. However, it has a 'matt' look, and is slightly scratchy, not at all as soft and strokable as most tights on the luxury end of the market. The positive side of this is that this is likely to stand up to fairly hard wear/pointy toed shoes etc.

In terms of fit, I'm a 16/18, 5ft 4, 36E and this was snug. While there was just enough length in the legs (any taller and you'd have trouble), the 'body' part of this was just not big enough! About ¾ more inches in height, so that the straps didn't need to be pulled so tight (cutting into your neck), and the same in width would make this garment all the more flattering, especially as there is obviously no in-built support in a garment of this kind.

However, the scoop of the low back is a lovely detail, and is extremely flattering to one's curves (as would the top be to someone less well-endowed than I!). The crotchless opening is a nice feature, although it's a little on the small side, which restricts access somewhat, which slightly defeats the point.

Overall, a fun item. My advice would be to order one and see how it fits. Afterall, Lovehoney's excellent customer service and helpful returns policy enables you to return it if you have fitting issues. Personally, I've stitched the straps into a bra, providing more support and solving the issue of halter-neck cutting into one's skin.

I'm 5'7 and I think I was too tall for it. It should be mentioned in the description!

The material is not soft and feels cheap on skin. The quality of lace parts was really bad. It went holey the first time I've tried it on! I would sew them up, then other ones came up.

I'm wearing uk size 18-20, but it was not enough to cover my bum. It covered just half of it!

Anyway, it was the same as flushing money down the toilet. I cannot wear it because it has holes and the size guidance was misleading. Very disappointed as I've ordered it with next day delivery because I needed it fast, but ended up going to another shop to buy something else.
