I was bought this item as a gift by a friend of mine and I must say it's one of the best presents I've had this year. The box it comes in looks like an oversized powder compact and I like that about it. It's a toy that I don't need to hide when the relatives visit as it's quite discreet.

I love the charging mechanism. It uses a USB to mini USB cable to charge it. You can charge it from mains using mains to USB plugs most smart phones are sold with or you can charge it through the USB port of your computer/laptop/games console. Yes I successfully charged the item off a Playstation 3 USB port, so with that respect it's really versatile. The USB cable plugs into the item's box and then two contacts in the box connect to the two metal rings on the massager, no need to worry about making sure you make the contacts align correctly, it sorts itself out.

Okay so moving on to the massager itself. It is silicone so it has a very nice soft almost powdery texture to it. The downside is that this texture likes to grab onto your hairs when you use it so be careful. It's got seven settings of varying strengths and unfortunately my partner has taken to calling one of the settings the "Top Gear" setting because it sounds rather much like the beaten up Top Gear Jaguar that got driven off the end of an aircraft carrier. It does make for amusing references though. It is a little loud, but not so loud that it can be heard from the other side of the door.

On the strongest vibration setting I found that if I used it for an extended period of time my hand would go a little numb, so If you are going to use the strongest setting alternate between hands so they don't go numb. My first use of the toy was to relieve the tension in the muscles in my shoulders. I've got an old injury in my shoulder where I tore some of the muscle fibers in a kayaking accident, so it does play up from time to time. Using this toy on it just melted away the problem. This is the best massager I have ever owned. I've also used the massager on my partner to help ease the tension in his back and it's helped relieve the tension there too. There is no need to use a massage lotion with it, but if you were going to do so make sure that it's one that's safe to use with silicone.

Moving on again, now in terms of using it on sensitive areas, just be careful you don't make yourself or your partner's parts numb from the vibrations, some of the settings are very strong but certainly pleasurable!

So all in all it's a very good item to have in your collection.
