I really was looking forward a vibe which would allow me to create my own patterns, as I often found that the patterns in vibes often seem to be miss and hit, often just leaving me bit... Unsatisfied.

First impressions:

The vibe arrived promptly and safely as always. After opening the box I was presented with relatively large round box which held the toy itself, with the toy picture on it. The toy has really nice velvety feel to it, but I do find the factory steam very ugly. I wish they would find another solution for the control tab, without this huge seam.

Charging and battery life:

As far as I can remember, the vibe arrived charged, but I am not 100% sure about this. But charging is very easy, LH supplies you with an US to UK adapter. I find that unlike some rechargeable toys I met, which holds charge for only relatively short time (less than month), the Ola holds its pretty well. I do not use it that often (roughly about once a week) and it still holds its initial charge, although I will have to recharge now and I got it in February.

I am not sure how long it lasts on one charge, but I find that it does last long enough for you to have several sessions on it. My guess would be over 3 hours? But I rarely check how much I used it. But I am happy with the battery life.

Very nice feature is that Ola lets you know how much charge there is left, when switching it on. 3 pulses mean full charge, 2 about half power left, 1 low. Something I miss with other rechargeable toys - you often only get warning battery is running out.

In use:

I personally find that Ola can be bit tricky to use the first few times until you get more used to how the toy is controlled. Also I did find out that you need to squeeze the control pad bit harder to get it to the full power.

There are no pre-programmed vibrations or patterns. You create your own patterns every time you use the toy. You can either do it by touching the pad when the toy is on, or use a button to switch the toy into programmable mode. This will allow you to create your pattern and then lock the toy so touching the pad will not change it anymore. Easy also to create constant vibrations - just hold it down and then quickly release. The only possible downside of this is that you cannot save the pattern for the future. So if you find one you really love, you have to remember it.

The Ola is nice shape toy for my G-spot stimulation. I find that it rubs against mine nicely. While I do like the shape for G-spot stimulation, I find it bit trickier to use it in my most favourite way as clitoral toy - I like to rub the toys against my clitoris, but I do find the larger head of Ola bit awkward for that. On the other hand, it is well made for larger surface external stimulation. I just put the control tab towards my belly and press the length of the Ola against my labia and clitoris and vaginal entrance. It works nicely for stimulation.

The vibrations can vary from very mild to relatively strong, although I would personally welcome the toy being bit stronger. So this is not a toy for a real power queen. It is enough for me, although I would prefer this toy to be just bit stronger...

And I wish it had travel lock. I travel a lot and I do want to take toys with me. So I would really appreciate this. Maybe they will make a second version?

Cleaning and storing:

Cleaning is very simple. Warm water does it. The toy is fully waterproof so there is no worry about washing it. Or you can use sex toy cleaner.

Storing is easy - you can either use the original box or the satin small bag which arrived with the toy. I personally find it bit small. The toy does fit in, but it is bit too tight fit for my liking. Maybe they could make it just a bit bigger?

Last thoughts:

Very creative vibrator, which allows you to create patterns every time to suit your mood. It just could be bit stronger.
