These candles captured my imagination as soon as I saw them. Friends of mine will testify to my addiction to candles and these have the added bonus of melting into a massage oil.

I was reluctant to use them when I first purchased them as I knew it would be a sad day when they ran out, although I fully intend to use the holders for tealights. I needn't have worried so much though as after using them twice for massage and several times as atmospheric mood enhancers only 2 of the candles are 1/2 burned down, and I've barely dented the surface with the other 2.

The candle holders are really attractive and add a romantic, feminine enhancement to your dressing table. When I get a little hacked off with my partner I rearrange the letters to read 'Vole' or 'Ello'. Has made me wish there were other letter combinations available, must be my inner child calling out.

Each of the scents is gorgeous. A little feminine maybe, but I'd say that they complement the home as opposed to the body, smelling like a softer version of scented candles.

As a massage oil these candles are sensational. The oil is never too hot and it offers a really sleek glide across the skin that lasts, meaning you don't need loads and loads for an effective massage. After the event, skin feels really soft and nourished and any residue washes off in the shower without lingering.

I'd recommend these as a thoughtful romantic gift for your partner or a treat for yourself.
