Fun, but expensive on batteries

As we both enjoy public play, we've tried a few remote control toys over the last couple of years. I wanted to try this as it's more flexible in use than most.

1. It has batteries inside the bullet, so you don't need to wear a separate battery box.

2. It's big enough to insert and feel the vibrations, but still small enough to slip into your nix for clitoral stimulation (my preferred option).

3. It's quiet enough to use anywhere (try using a Miyakodori bullet at full speed on a wooden pub bench you're sharing with strangers!).

4. The remote has an option to turn it off (some don't).

All these should add up to the perfect public play toy, but in the end I was a little disappointed for two main reasons.

1. The batteries really don't last long unless your OH is very sparing in it's use (my OH isn't!).

2. The vibrations were nice, lots of variation, but for me not quite powerful enough. You're not going to climax while dancing in a club with this! To be fair, it was enough to keep me turned on all evening which does lead to some great sex later!

I suppose these are downsides you have to accept in a remote toy with internal batteries. Hopefully one day they will come up with new battery technology that will revolutionise transport and the sex toy industry! Until then you have to spend a fortune on batteries if you want to use something like this all evening.

In the meantime this will get used sometimes when I'm wearing a slinky dress, but it's back to my trusty Miyakodori for a more full-on experience!

Remote surprises and fun

We both wanted a toy for some secret sexy fun between us while doing everyday stuff like shopping or housework, so I was really looking forward to trying this.

Remote power:

I was quite impressed with the remote as it feels lovely in your hand. It's ergonomically shaped and very comfortable to hold. The small control panel has 2 buttons one is on/off and the other is the pattern sequences. The buttons are well made and have a definite good quality click to them.

Once the batteries are all in you are ready to go. As soon as I pressed the remote the bullet went to action immediately a little small red-light shows when its sending a signal to the bullet so you know its working. With the batteries in both units they both feel very substantial in weight, and good quality. I was amazed at the variations in vibrations for such a small bullet.

The Vibrations:

This has 10 functions with an amazing mix of vibration, pulse and escalation.

1. Buzz

2. Faster buzz

3. Fastest buzz

4. 7 secs of escalation and drop

5. 2 pulses every second

6. 3 pulses every second

7. 123 4... (long)

8. 14 short, 14 fast, 1 medium and 1 long

9. 1 long, 1 long higher pitched and then a pulse that has 2 and half seconds of escalation

10. 7 quick, 32 medium, 9 slightly longer, 44 longer still. (phew)

All open to interpretation, some are so fast it's hard to tell.

Use:

The product details say it works best from 1 metre away but we found it was a little more. It worked from the door of the bedroom to the bed about 10 feet away and I was amazed as it even worked through a closed door and foot wide stone wall. The remote is very responsive within the 10 feet; any further you lose signal and have to press and move about a bit to gain connections again.

My OH even hid it under my pillow as a surprise and managed to turn it on from downstairs through the ceiling, we had so much fun with this. But it worked best in the bedroom when it was inserted beautifully.

The bullet is fairly discreet depending where you are going; it's perfect for a busy bar or restaurant but a quieter supermarket or shop certain vibrations maybe be heard. I loved the size of the remote. It's very small and discreet, easy to keep in your pocket and click thought he vibrations without anyone knowing.

Sadly, despite the amazing amount of pulses and escalations, it just wasn't powerful enough for me, but it was a definite turn-on and it gets things heated up quickly.

Batteries:

We had one problem though the batteries in the bullet run out quickly being watch batteries. I think the signal is always working from the bullet so when not in use always remove the batteries as there is no on/off button on the bullet just the remote. (I tried mine in the evening and by morning they were flat.) The remote batteries have yet to run out. These last well.

Another thing to remember is while moving about, if you are wearing this somewhere for more than an hour before deciding to use this, you may find the batteries run out before you get to play. It's best to put in place just before you are planning to play, or have a spare packet of batteries.

Being ABS plastic, you can use any lube with this bullet. It is also waterproof for fun in the bath and shower.

Cleaning:

Easy to clean being 100% waterproof, so you can run it under warm soapy water, Being shiny it's simple to clean, but pay close attention to the crimp on the plastic loop in case it should change colour, and spray sex toy spray around the base to make sure.

Keep checking the bullet for any chipping of the metallic coating too as it has some scratch signs where I have unscrewed the bullet to change batteries.

Conclusions:

I absolutely love this remote. I loved the fact I didn't know when my OH was going to use this, and despite it not being strong enough for me it worked me up enough for some great sex afterwards, and it also turns on my OH knowing he had control. Plus we had some great fun trying it in different places - shops, beach, park, car, literally anywhere.

All in all a great fun toy by yourself or with a friend for outdoor fun.
