Nice set, shame about the sizing

I was lucky enough to get chosen to review this item and in true Lovehoney style it arrived quickly and discreetly. The babydoll set is packaged in a clear plastic bag which is easy to open and dispose of.

The material feels really nice, very soft and of high quality. The embroidery and general stitching seems to be good too and looks beautiful. I am a size 10, 36B and was sent a medium babydoll set. The G-string looked huge to be honest and whilst it is elastic enough to stretch to a wide range of sizes it swamped me - it stayed up but felt big and the 'V' of material was a bit baggy which wasn't too flattering but was about to be covered by the Babydoll so I persevered. The babydoll looked a lot better and for the most part fit a lot better, it was snug without being tight or overly restrictive (it is a bit stretchy) which I hadn't expected (I thought it would be more 'floaty' but this is not a criticism, merely an observation).

The underwire gives a nice bit of support but the cups themselves didn't fit well. The elastic around the edge of the cup was fine and snug but again the material was baggy and not very flattering. The bottom seemed to be cut a little strangely too - when it's on it hangs fairly low at the front and quite high at the back, I just felt it looked a bit odd.

Perhaps I am an odd size but this set did not fit well at all even though it's recommended for A/B cups. It's a shame because it's made of lovely material and looks really nice. I would suggest women that are size 10 with larger boobs than 36B's would be okay with the babydoll in a medium but the G-string seems to have been made with much larger ladies in mind. Also, if you aren't confident about your figure or are trying to hide a few lumps and bumps then this set isn't for you - it's very figure hugging around the hip and tummy area.
