    1. Spend the little extra - don't bother with a bulb

Reviewed: 02 Jun 2012 by Temple of Ananke

Like the only other review on here (so glad he did review it), I can't fault this product.

The handheld bulb had a slightly painful tip when you're alone, trying all sorts to angle the bloody thing into yourself without squeezing the bulb, prematurely spouting your water everywhere!!

It's pretty self evident on how to use it, apart from the marvellous little gizmo which stops or slows the water flow. Which, once you've figured out, it's obvious really!

      For solo bulb users:

I'd recommend a dry run at first. This system is MILES better than a bulb, but on my initial attempt I did leak some water.

Towel on the floor or bed or glorious leather three seater.

Stopper gizmo on the tubing, not right up close to where the tip's to be inserted, but within easy reach for your hand to alter the flow.

Bottle on door handle (for instance).

Insert tip and allow flow to start.

Feeling full, weird, need a poo?

Stop the flow, go to the loo and spend the next 24 hours wondering why the hell you'd left it so bloody long to get a water bottle!

If you've read my other reviews, you'll know how much I adore Lovehoney, I really do. I've been thrilled with most of their products and continue to be a huge fan. Well, a BBW of a fan! I just ordered at half three yesterday and at half eight this morning got another box from Lovehoney. If only a third of companies in the UK could be as swift, as helpful, as on the ball.

I've said it's attractive, for I can imagine using this on a sub and think the sight of it, all old-fashioned and almost dreadful, is a good thing!

      Mistress Jane.

    1. Doubles as a hot water bottle

Reviewed: 18 Sep 2011 by crag630, a Going Steady Bisexual Male

It comes with two tips. One is small and straight, which is for anal. The other one is curved with a weird bit on the end and a few holes - I assume this is for the vagina.

There is a double-sided hook – one small, for hanging the bag, and a big one for hanging onto whatever can hold the weight.

The tubing is white and easily slips onto the attachments and the little bit where the water flows out.

There are two little stoppers. One is just a stopper which will turn your douche in to a hot water bottle. The other one is the one where the water comes out of.

There is a rather genius little flow control gadget that simply goes on the tubing - you can push it to either slow down the flow of water or stop it all together.

When using it you will need to use gravity. This may be a little awkward depending on a few things. Realistically you need to get the red bag as high as you can and get the tube as straight as you can.

Though I had my doubts, somehow once you get it aligned properly it will fill you using the power of gravity. You may need to cut the tube a little shorter.

I warn you, though - you can cut as much of it off as you like but adding bits back will not be so easy.

As far as cleaning is concerned I recommend the usual hot soapy water.

To clean the inside was what puzzled me, then it occurred to me to just fill it up with hot soapy water and let it flow out, cleaning the inside of the tube and bag.

The packaging was a simple cardboard box that you see in the product image and on the back it has a black and white picture of the douche and its attachments.

Overall I would highly recommend it. So much less fuss than a hand held bulb design, also it can hold more water at a time so less running back and fourth the sink for water.

As far as quality is concerned I would say it's quite good quality material.

    1. Worth every penny

Reviewed: 20 Jun 2012 by Mistybee77, a Going Steady Straight Female

I tried this after using the 'squeezy' type of anal douche. Unlike those, no water leaks from the bottle or the attachment due to the adjustable clip at the end. That is such a bonus for me.

The product is comfortable to use with a bit of lube, and as the water bottle is fairly large it doesn't need constant refilling.

I'm far from being an expert in douches or anal fun and this is well-suited to a beginner like me.

Other than its lack of portability, I really cannot fault this!

The tap and large reservoir mean you can comfortably douche without mess.
      Cons
      It's not very portable.
      Bottom line
By far the best way I've found to prepare for anal play.
