Having already bought and been disappointed with a bullet vibrator, I was only really drawn to this one after seeing it on Deal of the Day for £9. Why I decided to go for it, I'm not sure - maybe it was the additional temptation of the arousal balm and the really cool packaging. Whatever it was, I'm grateful!

Frankly, I'd have absolutely no qualms about paying £15 for this product, and I feel really lucky to have got it for less. The tin is, as you can see from the pictures, really retro and stylish. The toy itself is white and turquoise, which seem to be unusual colours for a sex toy. I wholeheartedly approve.

Appearances don't really matter, though. What's the toy like? Well, it's a nice length - long enough so that it's easy to grip and keep hold of, but also small enough to be easy to pack away into a handbag or purse. The bullet is not made of smooth plastic - it has a slightly raised, grooved surface, which makes for a really interesting texture. Unfortunately, as many of the other reviews have mentioned, the cap on my toy leaves a slight gap, but so far this has given me no problems and it has been under a little water as it was being cleaned.

The vibrations are fantastic. The bullet has three settings - great, better, and amazing. I like to switch between #2 and #3, and I'm sure there's a setting for everyone there. It's operated by a simple button at the top - turning it on you'll get the first setting, and then you press again and again to cycle to the second and third settings, and then to switch it off. No pressing and holding buttons or having to fiddle with different settings.

Really, the toy itself is worth £15, so the fact that it comes with an extra battery and the arousal balm is a real treat. The battery of mine hasn't run out yet, and it has been out of the tin quite a bit, so that's going to last me a while. As for the balm? It's a very strange sensation at first; at least, it was for me, as I've never used a balm like that before. It's definitely something I approve of, though. Plus, it smells lovely - it's watermelon-scented, and it's a very fresh smell. Not too strong.

Honestly, I can't recommend it enough. The only downside I can see is that common problem of gaps in the caps which cause problems with the waterproofing, but if it bothers you then you can always send it back to Lovehoney and get it replaced, as they have that lovely returns policy of theirs. In other words, no downsides! I really can't recommend it enough.

I was astounded by Lovehoney's quick delivery service. I jumped out of bed this morning to be greeted by my smiling postman with a very discreet parcel. And was chuffed to bits!

The packaging is simply gorgeous and what woman wouldn't be proud to own something like the Shimmy! I think I might have to purchase a few and just spread the word that there's people out there that are missing out, by thrusting one into the hand of every friend and friend's friend!

It's so lightweight and easy to handle and the colours are lovely compare to most bullets.

The settings, well, are to die for, and with the combined use of the balm, are just fabulous.

The balm has a fairly non-offensive scent which does just smells like most watermelon lip balms. It takes a couple of seconds till you start to feel it, but it's a pleasant numb tingly feeling.

I'm looking forward to having the BF over this evening as I told him I had ordered something but he had to wait to find out!

All in all I'm very impressed with every aspect of the product and the outstanding service of Lovehoney!

So I must urge anyone that's umming and ahhing over purchasing one of these, please do! You'll be umming and ahhing for all the right reasons! You won't look back.

Where do I start... The Swoon Shimmy Bullet And Orgasm balm Set comes in a great little retro tin so very easy and discreet in your handbag!

The bullet also comes with 2 batteries, which is great.

I was looking at similar products to this but after reading the reviews I decided to give this a go and boy am I glad I did...

The balm has a watermelon smell which is a refreshing change from the mint smell similar products use! The combination of the balm and the bullet together is purely amazing and pardon the pun but does exactly what it says on the tin.

I'm looking at the other sets now as I just love this one!
