I was really excited when I received a sachet of this O Gel and I couldn't wait to try it out. I have tried different lubricants in the Sliquid range so I knew that it would be skin-safe and great for intimate parts. I didn't know if it was going to be effective. I am pleased to say it is.

Packaging: The sachet is a bright pink and white with a little tap you can rip when you wish to use it. There is 5ml of O Gel in the sachet. I didn't need it all so I had some more the next day.

Content: A lot of lubricants nowadays contain glycerine and parabens, which are sugar derivatives and chemical additives, neither of which are great for delicate parts. However, Sliquid is completely different, it contains neither of these. It's also water-based and suitable for vegans.

Consistency: The gel is thicker than most water-based and even silicone-based lubricants, however it doesn't slide anywhere and stays on your clitoris. It doesn't get sticky with friction, either.

Effective: Yes it is, very effective. It isn't an orgasm in a gel, however it will increase the intensity of your orgasm.

Endurance: It goes a very long way and so you only need a little bit. If you put too much on it can make you feel numb. You need only apply once during a session.

Verdict: Overall, I really love this Sliquid O Gel. It is effective without being too over-powering and a little goes a long way. It is toy and condom-safe, it also doesn't stain. It's glycerine and paraben-free in addition to being suitable for vegans. However if you put too much on you can feel a bit numb. All in all, one of my favourite O Gels.

I decided to try a sample as I usually just stick to KY Jelly as it's a great all-rounder and has been trusted by me for years. I love the idea of organic lube as I don't know if some other chemically lubes will suite me.

I received the glycerine and paraben-free natural stimulating lubricant. Firstly, I was impressed with the quality of the packaging. It's sturdy, not like the rubbish sachets that other samples are presented in. It was easy to open without getting it all over my hands.

When I applied it, it just felt like a normal light lube; and then it started to work. The tingling was quite nice, but then it felt quite cold and extra tingly, which was uncomfortable for a couple of minutes. But to be honest I think this was because I have never used anything like this before, and things I have used haven't given such a reaction before. I think I just underestimated what it could do.

After that the sensation was immense. I could feel a lot, it intensified the whole experience, and alongside that it made me even wetter.

I then got a bit carried away and put it on the end of my OH's gorgeous manhood. After a couple of minutes I asked if he could feel it, and he said no, which I felt was a great shame. Until he was inside me again. I could definitely feel it. My eyes where soon rolling to the back of my head and I believe we may have woke the neighbours, hehe.

After buying this sample I am very likely to go for another type of stimulating lube. I didn't realise what I was missing. Plus, what's 99p?

I have never tried a stimulating lube/gel before although I have tried the balms and other types of lube so I was quite curious as to how much effect this little sachet would provide.

First of all the 5ml sachet is more than enough for a quick indicator into how well you'd get along with this product. I had unfortunately tried to use all of it at once which did lead to a bit of a mess! So, take heed, trying a little at a time may be best. This is a disposable little sachet which you can open via ripping off the top tab.

For a bit of background information - I personally find I orgasm better via clitoral stimulation, usually by a vibrator. I just wondered if this gel would increase the sensation. I usually opt for plain lubes like KY jelly as my go-to lube and in occasions a silicone lubrication. The gel itself is a little thicker and "gloopier" than the usual thin silicone lube however it's not dissimilar to KY jelly in consistency.

After applying a big gloop onto the sensitive area and somewhat smoothing it out I did feel a very harsh warming sensation. This was a little uncomfortable. It was shortly followed by a very cool feeling that seemed to remain for quite a while. Unfortunately I was using my glass toy at the time which didn't have the effect it usually does due to the cooling effect. It did feel very sticky towards the end as well.

All in all, I'm quite disappointed with this stimulating O gel. Even though it works - it seems to work in the extremes taking away the pleasure. I think it may have to do with the fact that I used too much but even then, when I think about it the effect was far too strong for my liking.

I would recommend trying out this sample if you wish to experiment but I'd suggest trying the balms instead for a more subtle increase in sensation and feeling.
