These arrived in a plain plastic bag with a tag on. I have always been fascinated with vintage style lingerie and in the past learned towards the steampunk and gothic look. I purchased these mainly for comfort rather than sex appeal; as I wasn’t too sure how my partner would take to them.

The size I chose is 12-14; I’m a size 10-12 and was just slightly off the smaller size available. Even though these are almost too big for me, due to the adjustable ribbon at the back I managed to pull them off. The elastic around the thighs is a little loose and only just feels taut around my legs; I have very athletically slender thighs as I run a lot. I still feel that the elastic is good quality and very stretchy, I doubt it’ll dig in much even on someone with larger legs. The ruffled lace around the thighs helps add to that vintage look while the satin polka dot bows add a modern twist. The lace itself feels a little rough, but with how it has been sewn into the fabric it’s unlikely to rub into your legs. The satin is divine and feels extremely smooth. The ribbon at the back is also made from the same satin and feels gorgeous as it drapes over your buttock once tied. Due to the satin being a bit slippery I have found it a bit tricky to tie once the bloomers are on. As the elastic waistband is very flexible but good quality I have found it easier to tie the ribbon prior to putting on. The open back perfectly frames my buttocks and due to this being well elasticised I feel it will work well for women who are larger than me without digging into the flesh. These are so comfortable I would also be happy to sleep in them.

When showing these to my partner I was happily surprised with his reaction. He immediately liked the idea of the open back and commented on how it would be perfect for spanking. He also loved the way he was able to gently untie the ribbon and pull the bloomers down provocatively.

I’ve found these to work well with nipple tassels combined, and I was able to find some in a Victorian style. Basically these bloomers are perfect if you are aiming for the burlesque look.
