Pretty and comfortable
Reviewed: 20 Aug 2012 by HappilyExperimenting
I have worn these to work and in bed, and they work well when paired with pyjama or camisole tops. They are very pale and the muted pink and white tone of the briefs help feminise any outfit. I wouldn't say the polka dots are immediately noticeable but when close up they are very pretty and understated. I don't think I would buy these at full price but on sale for £4 you really can't go wrong. They are very comfortable and cover my derriere completely, however the back material is transparent so you get that delicious look of your OH's bottom that promises more.
A great pair of girly knicks, suitable for everyday wear or teaming with feminine nightwear, these chiffon briefs are a lush material and are comfortable yet practical. Get a pair for your underwear drawer - you won't regret it. I have two pairs! Lovely for those who don't always like to wear thongs or G-strings.

- Pros
- Lovely design, nice material, comfy, great fit.
- Cons
- The little rose on the side could be bigger.
- Bottom line
- Great for pairing with camisole tops or for everyday wear.

Decent quality, sexy, but picture colours misleading
Reviewed: 14 Apr 2012 by Holly B
Nicely cut and well stitched from good quality materials.
As previous reviewer stated, the pictures show a MUCH paler colour combo. I'd say that in the pics that the polka dots are barely visible. In reality they are clearly there, but NOT obtrusive.
The fit is nice, although occasionally the lightly frilled 'skirt' segment seems to turn up a little but no problem.
I'd agree with the previous assessment about sizing.
I'm really pleased with them overall... Especially for the bargain price offer.

- Pros
- The materials and the cut.
- Cons
- Frill turns up occasionally.
- Bottom line
- Great! I love it.

Dotty Delicates
Reviewed: 05 Apr 2012 by BashfulBabe, a Going Steady Straight Female
I don't normally go in for vintage/retro/whatever style undies apart from the more sultry burlesque types, but these were such a bargain I couldn't help myself!
When they first arrived, I was surprised by how vivid the polka dots are compared to in the product picture. The fill is mesh with a solid pastel pink, and the spots in the same cream as the main part of the panties. And the little ruffle-flower is of the same mesh. To be honest, I'd have preferred it to be slightly paler, more subtle colouring, although it's not enough of a disappointment to put me off. If you're into the cutesy retro vibe, or more girly styles, then it might even be a bonus, but personally I'd prefer it more classic and muted.
The main body of the panties are perfect. The front panel is a slightly stretchy satin-effect, which is both comfortable and retains a certain amount of modesty, while being visually sexy as well as to the touch. The rear is cream mesh, very stretchy but relatively resistant to tearing. It gives just enough of a view to tempt, while keeping all the good parts covered. Perfect teasing wear.
As a small 14 to large 12, and knowing BlueBella sizings to be a little on the tight side, I opted for the 14-16. It actually fits quite well, but I feel like it doesn't hug me as tightly as I'd like, and as soon as I lose any more weight it'll probably start slipping. However, having tried a 12-14 in a similar sized set, I know the next size down would have been uncomfortably small on me. It's a bit of a tough one to choose perfectly, but I'd say if you're well into the lower end of a size range, then go for that (so a regular 10 to small 12 should pick 10-12), but if you're on the upper end of a range, or in between like me, then you might need to go up one and accept that it's not going to cling quite as neatly as you'd like. Throughout my size fluctuations, I have found that a good rule of thumb for BlueBella products is to match the lower of the two numbers perfectly if you want it to fit perfectly, and if that's not possible, then choose whether you prefer clingy or loose.

- Pros
- Pretty and of good quality, great for demure teasing and very comfy.
- Cons
- Pattern on frill is quite bold, sizing isn't ideal for me.
- Bottom line
- Sizing's a pain and a strange style, but well worth the sale price!
