These knickers are made of very soft black lace that has just enough lycra to flatter your curves. The red satin ribbons pull up the back giving your cheeks a gorgeous, irresistible shape. I am a curvy girl and they look great on me - but I am sure that they would flatter any shape.

I have had mine for quite a while now and even after repeated washing they still look as good as new. The only thing to remember is that the line of the ribbon will be visible through tight fitting clothes.

Let me start with the positives because there aren't many. Only one in fact - the packaging. The knickers come in a lovely box with the photo of the model wearing them. But then they come out of the box and the excited smile I had on my face wore off. Because these are terrible.

They are nothing like the photo - the design, the whole shape is completely different. Sure they have the red ribbon and bow, and look amazing on the model. But the lace doesn't have little hearts on it like it looks in the photo. And the shape is awful, with the waist being about two sizes smaller than the rest of the knickers. Seeing as knickers are worn around the hips and not the waist this should be waaaay bigger.

Being a size 10 I went for the Medium and they fit around the bum fine, but the waist is definitely not a size 10 - they dig in and make my hips look chubby.

Another thing I found is that these don't have the little bit of extra material in the crotch, there's only a thin bit of lace just like all over the knickers. And the fabric feels horrible, it's rough and scratchy against the skin, definitely not something you want on your private, sensitive parts.

I've never been so disappointed with a purchase from Lovehoney. At first I thought these looked awful because I just had a weird body shape or they were possibly too small but now that I've lost weight and I haven't seen a difference I can definitely say these are not worth the price. Save yourself the confidence issues and buy a better quality, cheaper pair from a well known and trusted brand like Seven Til Midnight.
