Seven Til Midnight Plus Size Sheer Chemise with Lace Cups is made of a very soft lace for the cups and sheer chemise that feels comfortable to wear and is not itchy against the skin, even straight out of the packaging. The only problem I had with the fit was the cup size was a little big for me but I’m only a 38C, but that wasn’t a problem for me but if you need quite a bit of support be warned this chemise does not have underwires.

The set includes a thong, which is a nice addition, and it fits me very well and could just be seen through the sheer chemise. It is very sexy but it’s not necessarily up to the quality of the chemise. The front of the thong is a similar mesh to that of the sides and back of the main chemise. However the straps on the thong are just strips of elastic where a little attention to detail and inclusion of similar lace would have been nice. There is also a large branding label off to the side of the thong, which does not appear in promotional pictures and may be best being cut out before the thongs is worn.

The quality of the chemise was very good, nothing tatty and well put together, looks like it will last me a long time. The straps are strong and can be adjusted easily just like a bra, but it doesn’t have underwires which I like. The chemise simply slips over your head and had no catches but is can be easily starched.

Looks-wise this is feminine, sensual and sophisticated and I felt quite sexy with this on. The beautiful lace design on the cups brings the eye strait to the breasts so if you hate your stomach like I do this is for you. Sitting and bending while wearing this piece was comfortable, so it could be worn for a long time. I wouldn't personally wear this under clothing on a date as there isn’t much cup. I felt feminine and sexy in this piece, and a male friend said he thought that it was an attractive piece of lingerie as well.

The packaging is a cardboard box with a natural (curvy)-looking woman wearing the product image on it.

I really liked the look of the Seven Til Midnight range as it catered for plus size women while still being sexy and offering a lot of choice too. However after trying this chemise their brand have gone way down in my opinion.

The chemise arrived in cardboard packaging with a window so you can see the product. Included is a G-string. This is the only good thing about the chemise. I will now give seven reasons against it.

One: By the looks of the product photo it fits the model but has some give in it. This is untrue of it in person. The chemise looks very small but has considerable stretch. It fits but it hugs your skin all over showing off any lumps and bumps. I am a size 16 and I have the 1X/2X and this should have fitted but been loose enough to skim over my curves. It doesn't, not at all.

Second: The cups offer no support whatsoever. The straps are adjustable but are really thin. The material is loose just under the cups so it doesn't even sit against the skin.

Third: The cups are small. I am a 36F and as the previous reviewer found the cup sizes too big at 38C I thought that it would be a little tight but would fit. They were way too small and squished them to the side. Not a good look. I would recommend a size D/DD at best. I also thought as the material was lace it would have some give in it but it doesn't.

Fourth: The G-string is really cheap looking, something I wouldn't pay more than £1 for separately. I was expecting a better quality from a brand like this. It is a sheer material with a huge label at the front which needs to be removed to be worn. It hangs down between the legs and doesn't fit right around the hips either. It is more of a 20-22 size, unlike the chemise.

Fifth: When worn the chemise is constantly riding up so you end up with more of a top or pulling it down all the time. Add this to no cup support and not enough material and I feel far from sexy.

Sixth: I decided to have a look at the lingerie selection at Asda and found a chemise in bra sizes, a brief with suspender straps and some seamed stockings which all look much nicer than the Seven Til Midnight chemise and fit me much better.

Seventh: The previous outfit I found all added up to the same price as this chemise and they were all in season at the moment. They also feel better quality. If I had seen this in person and tried it on I wouldn't have expected it to be more than £5 at most. It looks and feels like some of the products I got cheaply from China.

Overall, I am really let down by this brand and the look, feel and quality of their products. I recommend going to your supermarket clothes section for a better choice and better prices.
