Every Which Way... I LOVE my iRide
Reviewed: 28 May 2011 by Divine69, a Bisexual Single Female
When I first saw the iRide on LH I knew I had to have it - despite the price tag. I've got a fair collection of vibrators but the iRide caught my eye because of the ability to do just that - ride it!
I have to admit to it took me a little while to 'get' how the iRide works for me, BUT I am SOOOOOOO glad I took the time to work it out because now I truly LOVE (and totally 'get') this toy! And I can honestly tell you what I think of it now. So apologise for taking so long to getting round to writing this review.
As I've mentioned I didn't really 'get' this toy first off - couldn't work out how I was meant to use it, as in what worked for me (it's obvious now). I found it was great as a warm-up toy - later using other vibrators - but I couldn't get a full on orgasm from it. However, after suggestions from LH (thanks Matt!), I discovered new amazing things with it - and mind-blowing orgasms too!
I now have several favourite positions - I highly recommend the following:
* riding the iRide on my beanbag on my bed
* spooning - niiice
* placing iRide on a small bit of MDF board (or tray) and sliding forwards and backwards, wriggling and rocking with it
* reverse cowgirl while using my Fun Factory Laya Spot massager between clitoris and the iRide - either placed on board/bed/bean bag
All of the above send me to earth shattering orgasmic heaven! Which is why I LOVE my iRide!
The controls are real simple to use - 3 speeds each bullet. Although I am sure there are more than 3 speeds on mine - obviously I'm not thinking straight when I'm riding and going dizzy with the sensations!
My problem first off when I got this toy was I found the clitoral hump didn't do much for me - it wasn't raised enough I initially thought. However by intense thrusting, rocking and wriggling I've found I do feel something from it, although not enough to induce orgasm. I have now overcome this problem by incorporating the use of my Fun Factory Laya Spot massager when I'm riding in reverse cowgirl position - works a REAL treat!
The vibrating dong is not overly big but it does the job for me, I may invest in some penis extension sleeves to add a little more length (so long as they are silicone safe) but I'm not overly bothered right now.
The vibrations from the dong and hump are nice and powerful - 4 AA batteries power this toy. Best take batteries out after play because it does eat them otherwise, trust me.
I find this toy VERY quiet - even with both motors on the highest settings, my bed (and me) makes a lot more noise than the iRide! Even when using the Laya Spot massager too I don't have volume issues. Which is good seeing as I live in a shared house!
The design of the iRide is great - it really does work and, as I thought before I got it, it seems to be designed for everyone - not just the super skinny girls. I wouldn't say it's overly padded though - so probably better if you do have a bit of your own padding! It is VERY comfy though - the design is just right for us ladies, which is most pleasing. It's also a very well made product and built to last. Easy to clean too, which is also a bonus!
I use mine by myself but I can imagine that with a partner it would be just as much fun - if not more so!!
Storage-wise I've got a lovely big red bag I keep it in, well away from my other toys - because it's Special. I will keep this toy for as long as it lasts and, when it does wear out, I'll buy another - and hopefully the price will have dropped a little by then too! I am sure it is helping me keep fit - giving me thighs a good workout, if you need an excuse to buy one for yourself then use that excuse (cheaper than the gym! And WAY more fun!)
If you want to try something different and want to buy Quality and treat yourself then get the iRide and see what orgasmic journey it takes you on - you won't be disappointed! Yes it's expensive but if, like me, you don't have the space for the bigger sex furniture this IS the next best thing! And if you go halves with your OH then it's £35 each which is not bad at all considering how ORGASMTASTIC this toy is!
Go on, treat yourself - you know you're worth it...!
(NB: My ratings are based on how I get on with the toy now.)
- A tad on the expensive side - otherwise nothing.
- Bottom line
- Amazingly versatile toy!
