Neat & Naughty French Maid Costume

Classic, sexy, but comes up very small

There are so many French Maid outfits out there to choose from but this looked most like the classic simple one I've been looking for as opposed to one resembling a fancy dress costume.

It's a very well made item and not too frilly. The material is very soft, of good quality, drapes well and is not cheap, see-through or shiny looking. I liked the separate apron that you tie on unlike many others that have a 'stitched on' one. The tie-on headpiece is a nice small size, the garter is quite large though but you could also wear it as a choker.

The size however does come up very small! I'm a 12-14 (a 13!) and after reading a review on the BlueBella Nurse Costume I ordered a size 14-16. I'm glad I did as it's a very snug fit to say the least, the sleeves are quite tight and the length of the dress is very short. I'm 5'2" and it just covers my bum, but as the dress is not too revealing up top I quite like that it's so short. My advice would be to definitely order a size larger than your normal dress size or even two sizes larger.

I also ordered the BlueBella Mesh Underskirt to wear with it but had to return it as it was very scratchy which was disappointing and the Medium size was too large around my waist and too long, which was a surprise bearing in mind the way the dress was sized.

Despite the sizing issue I'm very pleased I went for this one. It's sexy-cute and looks great on!

Feel really sexy with the whole outfit on. Has been some time, but I love the frilly underskirt, it really makes my bum look great.

Have added a long wig, which feels really great. Long and dark, very very very sexxxxxy.

Since wearing the whole outfit, I have felt like sharing pictures for the first time.

Short but sexy

I received the BlueBella 4-Piece French Maid Costume last week and immediately tried it on. I don't own many dressing up costumes, and as I am involved on the fetish scene I was excited to receive this as it would be fet-club appropriate!

Upon trying the dress on I found the main body of it to be a good fit, though my D/DD breasts fit snuggly in it; perhaps a more bountiful bosom may struggle to be contained. It is short sleeved, and the seams on the sleeves feel somewhat snug on me, and I'd say my arms are small-medium for my overall build, so if your arms are somewhat fleshy you might find them overly restrictive.

On me, the only bit that outright *doesn't* fit is the garter belt. It does go onto my thigh, but folds over almost instantly, rendering it a little pointless for me.

The fabric isn't rough in any way, and the dress seems to be well sewn, though the seam in the midsection is fairly obvious - handily, the apron covers that nicely.

The headdress looks great, the apron fits fine and while it's certainly rather short on me at 5'11", if I do say so myself, I look rather good in it!

I was looking for an outfit that wasn't too cheesy or tacking looking and this is the perfect solution. It's a maids outfit but it still has a touch of elegance to it.

The fit for me being petit was a little off but otherwise is fine. Looks great on with all the accessories, I got turned on just wearing it for myself let alone for a partner.

Perfect item for someone who wants to roleplay realistically rather than to be raunchy.

This sexy little maid costume is of beautiful quality, and the accessories are fabulous too - something that's usually missing from costume sets!

The lycra type material is really stretchy, meaning it'd fit a lady much bustier than myself while still fitting my slim frame perfectly.

The only problem with the fit is the neckline and length made it look a little too cute on me - on a lady with a bigger bust and curvier bum it'd be on the sexier style, but at least on my frame it'd make a good fancy dress costume without being too over the top!

The quality of the dress isn't let down by the accessories as with many costume sets. The thick band of ribbon on the apron and more flexible band of ribbon for the headpiece feel luxurious and are long enough to fasten securely. The garter is lovely and fit perfectly on my slightly thicker than average thighs.

With a pair of stockings added it really was a lovely and very comfortable outfit! In fact I wore it all evening and nothing rode up or down or needed adjusting too often.

The price is pretty good if you compare it to some other costumes that just look tacky and are closer to £50, even if it's a little out of my own price range. I'm convinced to try BlueBella again!
