Another good Pjur product - Cream Glide

First things first. It is a silicone and water-based lube so be careful with your toys. Secondly, Pjur claim it is safe to use with all condoms, so no problems there.

No packaging to mess about with - just the tube itself which is "in an easy-squeeze tube with a fine-grip finish". It is true it isn't a totally smooth tube but when push comes to shove and you've got a dollop of lube in your hand the tube is a little slippery. To be fair, only to be expected. The one thing with a previous Pjur product that I tried was the rather unromantic packaging covered in German! This is much better; it’s been kept simple yet feminine and doesn’t have the medicinal feel that other Pjur products have.

This product has no smell or fragrance that I could detect. Sometimes companies claim there is no smell, but you can still smell one. I couldn't smell anything.

Equally, I couldn't detect a particular taste either - Yes, I squeezed a bit and tasted it. It isn't the nicest consistency in your mouth and has a 'something and nothing' taste but essentially there isn’t a taste and if you’re looking for something without a smell or taste, this ticks the boxes.

The actual lube reminds me of hair conditioner, so that gives you some idea of the consistency – I almost don’t want to call it a lube. It reminds me much more of a cream/gel than lube!

Pjur state that this can be used as a nice massage cream and a lubricant. Since it contains a blend of silicone and water-based lubricant I was concerned it might be a little tacky if used as a massage cream. However, it is easily absorbed and made my skin feel temporarily moisturised. It isn’t tacky at all. I have skin problems so have to be careful what I use on my skin; this is the second Pjur product I’ve tried and have not had an adverse effects with either.

Because it absorbs quite quickly on the skin, you would have to keep re-applying it, if for instance, you were doing a full body massage, so I think there are better products out there if you’re looking for a massage oil for example but as a dual purpose product, it’s great!

So, using it as a lube. One of my other concerns was that if it absorbs quickly into the skin, how long could I realistically expect it to last as a lube? However, for some reason, it seems to work well. A little goes a long way and I think because of the consistency it seemed to last a while. We didn’t reapply it so it must’ve been working well!! I think because of the consistency it “sticks”. It certainly went well with a glass toy we were using.

Overall, I am a fan of Pjur products and this one is no exception. It’s creamy, glides onto the skin well, can be used for massage and for lube and is in a pretty tube. Recommended.

Prefer bodyglide woman liquid

We are fans of the Bodyglide Woman. It works very well.

The cream version solves one problem, namely the dispensing. It's easy to get a decent amount, and it is easy to apply.

It rubs in, feels soft, but doesn't seem to actually provide good long-lasting lubrication for sex, or for toy play.
