    1. Product Description

A luxury silicone Kegel set presented in beautiful gift packaging. A three-step system, each step has a differently shaped and weighted exerciser to tone your pelvic floor, increasing your sexual sensitivity and improving your sexual pleasure.

Using Ami regularly will tone and strengthen your PC muscle, so you can enjoy enhanced sensitivity and more intense, easy-to-achieve orgasms. Ami also contains little balls that rumble around inside you, creating a discreet and arousing sensation even while you're working out.

If you have a male partner, Ami can lead to a whole new sexual experience when you use your improved PC muscle to grip and tease his penis during intercourse.

Using Ami will also help to improve bladder control, prepare you for birth and enhance your natural lubrication during menopause, proving that Kegel exercisers are a must-have for women, no matter what your age.

Ami isn't just one Kegel exerciser, but three - making it a totally unique way to tone up your pelvic floor.

Ami 1 is a large, soft and lightweight single ball, weighing 47g. If you're new to Kegel exercise products or you're out of practice, this is the Ami to start with.

Ami 2 is a medium-sized double ball that's still soft like Ami 1, but slightly heavier weighing 78g. Ami 2 is for those who find Ami 1 no longer challenges them enough.

Ami 3 is a small, hard and heavy double ball that weighs 106g. It is the most advanced Ami and suitable for experienced users.

The Ami Kegel system comes with a booklet of full instructions (just lift out the holding tray and you'll find it sitting underneath) advising you how to use the Kegel exercisers effectively to tone and strengthen your pelvic floor.

    1. Ami Balls

Reviewed: 05 May 2012 by WakkaWakka

I recently suffered a slight prolapse.

Okay, it's not the sexiest thing to talk about but it happens and it needed help. My doctor said Kegel exercises and I asked if balls were safe to use given my unfortunate situation. She said yes, so I ran along and bought myself a set of Ami balls.

The box they come in is gorgeous. Just by looking at it you can see that the brand made a lot of effort to make it as chic and stylish as possible.

The balls themselves feel lovely. They're made of silicone and are strokably soft yet still firm enough to squeeze around. A slick of Liquid Silk and they're perfect!

I'm currently still on the first, single Ami ball but am hoping to try the second one in the kit really soon (on a brave day). I've been following the exercises enclosed with the balls in a little booklet and I can feel my muscle tone improving week by week. Plus they're really fun to use... you can go out wearing them and no one knows your little secret :)

    1. An Intimate Balancing Act

Reviewed: 19 August 2011 by BashfulBabe, a Straight Going Steady Female

I do love my Kegel balls! I still remember during my pre-natal aquarobics class, one chick's mother talking about how she never listened to the advice to keep up her pelvic floor muscle exercises, so now she has to wear Tena Lady pads all the time, while we all floated ever so slightly further away from her. After having the baby, I was terrified both that I'd end up like that, and that I'd be somewhat lacking when it came to the sex side of things. Kegel exercises go a long way towards me feeling more confident about myself in both departments, because I do notice a difference between when I use them religiously, and when I slack for a week or so before going back. And, while the squeeeeze-relax manual exercises are fine, they're pretty boring, and people look at you like they're worried you're about to poop on their floor.

There are a few 'variable size/weight' Kegel ball systems out there, but to be honest, a lot of them seemed rather cheap and tacky, and often came in rather scary shades of pink. Whilst I'm not exactly over the moon with the musky-purple these have going on, they do at least look classy and like they'll last. I was curious as to how I'd handle the more progressive options, since mine have always tended to be relatively light and large, in other words "easy to hang onto".

I love the packaging. Between the waxed-cardboard outer box, and the vacuum-sealed plastic wrapping, the inner 'pretty' box was absolutely pristine. Obviously, it's the kind of item where hygiene is a priority, and it's little touches like that that make me feel like I have a quality product in my hands. The main box itself is lovely, solid black with a lift-up top and a cute black ribbon tie, and the Je Joue logo embossed in silver on the top. Each of the three exercisers has its own labelled nook, with a black ribbon tab to lift the tray out, where nestles the booklet to accompany the system. It doesn't hold much in the way of shocking new info for the seasoned pro, but I remember getting my first set, two rattling balls on a string and nary a clue even what end they should go in! Fair enough, there's a healthy dose of common sense involved in working it out, but being such a comprehensive set is bound to be a little intimidating to a newbie, so it's nice to have blush-proof access to sample exercises and advice on how to make the most of them.

All three exercisers have some basic little quirks that I enjoyed. First off, the string is silicone, too, and moulded into the base plate, ensuring that it's both secure and sanitary. Secondly, the texture: squidgy silicone, very malleable and allowing for a lot of squeezing on Ami 1's single ball, and for the dual-balléd Ami 2 and 3 to bend and sit comfortably in those of us without perfectly cylindrical vaginas. Thirdly, the thumb-groove in the base plate. Honestly, it's something I never realised was an inconvenience until I had it taken away, but trying to push a sphere with a single finger when meeting muscular resistance is no mean feat! I can't tell you the number of times I've slipped and prodded myself during insertion, and that little groove makes it foolproof. I could get any of them inside with a single push of a lone finger, instead of scrabbling in places that are naturally averse to scrabbling. Unfortunately, the one downside comes from the same place that this wondrous innovation does: the base plate has a tiny groove where it meets the exerciser, just enough to gather goo. It's easy cleaned with a fingernail, but it does let down the fluidity.

I started out with the 'beginner' Ami 1. It's much the same in size as my others, but with a single ball instead of two, and pretty light. I honestly didn't feel anything for the most part, and wore it for a full 12 hours, only periodically getting a rumble as something jostled the weight inside. I did feel like I'd done some mild exercise afterwards, but I'd forgotten it was there most of the time, so it didn't do much for me. For someone still worried about dropping it in the middle of the weekly shop, or long-term wear, it's ideal, but anyone with experience will probably not get this one out much.

Onto Ami 2, which was the same weight and Duo ball-style as my usual Kegel balls, but a good bit smaller. They, too, rattle, and I did get more out of them than Ami 1. I had to take them out after about six hours, because my vagina felt tired. Seriously, I had the same well-used muscle feeling as after a hefty gym session, only in a place most gym machines aren't designed to stimulate! I was aware of them during the day, but not intrusively so, and got a bit of a tingle when moving quickly or boisterously. The box does say "teasing as you tone", which did seem to hit the note for this middle chappy. Enjoyable to wear, and noticeable results!

Having discovered Ami 2 was perfect for my level, I cautiously gave in to curiosity and tried out Ami 3. It's tiny, heavy, and solid, so none of the rattling the two earlier versions had. I was hyper-aware of it, so much so that I had to take it out after less than an hour before I pulled something, and I wouldn't have dared to leave the house with it. I've since been more sensible, and found that it's perfect for if I'm doing an actual session of exercises in the bedroom, as it does feel like a workout, but I wouldn't dream of taking it on a road-trip yet.

Overall, I like it. I love having the options, and there's one to suit whatever I'm planning on getting up to. For someone new to Kegel exercisers, who might still find Ami 1 to be plenty, it's still a great investment, as I guarantee once you start noticing the difference, you'll be keen to move on to something more challenging, and this does have a great progression system. Honestly, I can't think of any sex toy for less money that'd have such an impact on your life, both in and out of the bedroom! Confidence and pleasure, all tied up with a pretty black ribbon and sealed with the Je Joue logo. Massive thumbs up (pun possibly intended).

    1. Fun and Fit, A Great Gradual Kit

Reviewed: 10 August 2011 by Hella Walkington

I was given one of these kits to test out by Je Joue when they came to visit LH towers. I've always wanted to give a proper Kegel exerciser a go after playing with larger 'toner' balls that are more of a sex toy than an exercise device.

Looking through Ami's options, there are three differently-sized and weighted exercisers. The idea is that you start with the first one and work your way up to the third once your muscle tone has improved. Being in my 20s and childless, I thought I'd opt for the heaviest weight to try out for size.

The heaviest weight was definitely perfect for me. I found I could hold onto it well but it still represented a challenge at certain points, something I'll delve into later.

I popped Ami 3 in before I headed out to town. There was an open mic night on and I figured this was the best opportunity to test out the idea of using Ami in a public setting.

First of all I had a bus ride into the city on one of the smaller buses. It's a pretty bumpy ride and I thought this would be good fun. What I wasn't expecting was to find myself escalating toward orgasm within a couple of minutes. Unfortunately, by this point the bus had run out of downhill slopes so my passion subsided.

For all I've read about Kegel exercisers and their joys, I wasn't wholly convinced that they could be both pleasurable and functional. Ami 3 definitely has me convinced on this front. The balls are perfectly positioned for G-spot stimulation and with some vigorous shaking they feel amazing.

Wandering around through town I was aware of Ami but there wasn't any indication of the same knee-bending stimulation I received on the bus. Maybe these can also be marketed as something to make public transport bearable?

I arrived at the bar and carried on my merry way through the night, happy that Ami was doing its thing with virtually no effort on my part. It's comfortable to wear and is easily forgotten about and when you do remember its presence you instinctively squeeze around it, further toning up those muscles.

So the night went on and I was having my usual fun times. Chatting with friends and drinking with no suspicion as to my secret exercising. One thing I wasn't counting on was the alcohol effect. The more I drank, the more I relaxed and as my body followed suit I suddenly lost my grip on Ami and felt it trying to squeeze out. I explained to my boyfriend and best friend that I was about to lose my Kegel exerciser and left them laughing at the table while I made a mad dash to the ladies. Oops!

On my first outing Ami managed to stay in place for four hours before I lost my grip. I haven't tried wearing it out while drinking again, but now I've been challenged by a sex toy I intend to make it through a whole night hammered without losing it.

I've used Ami 3 sporadically and I can't say if it's made a difference to my tone or not but I do enjoy using it. I'd definitely recommend this kit for those that seriously want to try Kegel balls, Kegel exercisers or Kegel exercises as the three-step kit gives something to work through and helps maintain interest. I'm not really the target market for this kind of product but I have an interest in maintaining tone and I think Ami will definitely come in handy for that.

The silicone composition of each Kegel exerciser is really strong and easy to maintain so I can foresee this set lasting a very long time. Maybe in 10 years I can pop back and write another review to compare my experiences. I have every faith the set will last me that long and more.
